Obama admits Iran nuclear deal only delays inevitable, leaves problem for future presidents

President Obama admitted Tuesday in a broadcast interview that his nuclear agreement with Iran only delays Tehran from eventually acquiring a weapon, which could come immediately after Year 13 of the agreement -- leaving the problem for future presidents.

Obama made the comments about Tehran's so-called "breakout time" in an interview with NPR News that aired Tuesday morning. The president was attempting to answer the charge that the deal framework agreed upon by the U.S., Iran, and five other nations last week fails to eliminate the risk of Iran getting a nuclear weapon because it allows Tehran to keep enriching uranium.

Obama said that Iran would be capped for a decade at 300 kilograms of uranium -- not enough to convert to a stockpile of weapons-grade material.

"What is a more relevant fear would be that in Year 13, 14, 15, they have advanced centrifuges that enrich uranium fairly rapidly, and at that point, the breakout times would have shrunk almost down to zero," Obama said.

Now from someone who actually understands what is at stake in Iran...

Quoted Text
(Washington, D.C.)
--A group of 30 leading nuclear nonproliferation specialists, primarily from the
United States, issued a joint statement today assessing the framework deal announced
by the P5+1 and Iran on April 2 as a "vitally important step forward" for nonproliferation
and international security.

"When implemented, it will put in place an effective, verifiable, enforceable, long-term
plan to guard against the possibility of a new nuclear-armed state in the Middle East,"
the statement reads.

In their statement, the signatories, who include former U.S. nuclear negotiators and
leading nuclear specialists, "...urge the P5+1 and Iranian negotiators to promptly
finalize the remaining technical details and we urge policy makers in key capitals to
support the deal and the steps necessary to ensure timely implementation and
rigorous compliance with the agreement."

Quotes from 'FoxSnooze'?

No Boxy, those are quotes from Obama during an NPR interview.

So who is lying? Is it the "30 leading nuclear nonproliferation specialists" (who even knew there was such a thing) or 'His Royal Highness' Barrak Hussein Obama?

Obama said.

Why are Americans frightened of Iran?  Isreal is sitting on 200 nukes right next door.  Iran is advanced enough of a civilization to develop nuclear power, yet I'm supposed to believe they are unsophisticated barbarians that would be dumb enough to start a nuclear war that would lead to the end of their entire civilization?  Maybe they are really sophisticated barbarians.

Nobody ever said we are 'frightened' of Iran.

Yes. The Persians have repeatedly stated over and over and over again that they want Israel wiped off the map. They will do this in the name of Allah.

As I stated above, you don't need a super fortified underground facility and heavy water reactors to generate electricity.

Because it isn't finished yet.  Both sides either work out the details from the framework, or they don't
and the deal is not completed.
Lets see... how has it worked in the past when Congress has a vote to either approve or end an Obama
proposal?
After passing ObamaCare, how many times did the US Congress vote to get rid of ObamaCare?  50?  52?
54?  I lost count.
This Congress will do anything... even if it means go to war in Iran, to keep America's first black
president from any possible success.

While I agree that Medicare refusing to cover certain drugs/procedures because of a birthday, I really don't think Obama put those rules in place.

My grandmother had a deviated septum for years and it gradually got worse as she got older, until she was unable to breathe through her nose at all.

They refused to cover surgery to correct it because she was over 80.

She died right about when Obama was elected at age 86.

And I don't have a link to prove it, but that doesn't make it non-existent.

Links have nothing to do with validating reality.

Links provide data, interpreted, and loaded with judgement, opinions and guilt.

All links are created to influence visitors.

Whether it be artistically, propaganda, protest, helpful or any number of other reasons.

In Box's case actions only exist when reported on by liberals.

He's just as fair and balanced as Foxnews, but in the totally opposite direction.

Both extremist viewpoints totally drown out the majority of people who could give a rat's a.ss and believe both the extremist
opposite continue this battle to prolong the status quo.

Two extremist opposite fighting over who gets to run everyone else's lives.

The 2 most judgmental entities that ever lived.

Both side are self righteous freaks that truly believe that their beliefs should be inflicted on all mankind.

Both sides proposing new ways to limit our freedoms and control all of our lives.

For the children!(Sandyhook)

For the murder victims.(aborted lives)

Bad fukken things happen and using them as a tool to gain control of others to force your beliefs and morals on them, is not what a free country is supposed to be about.

Free to obey rules forced upon us by corporate and religious sponsored entities that are behind most legislation and regulation.

Medicare and insurance companies own survival must come first before any benefits are paid; thereby prioritizing expenditures to keep themselves healthy and employed fist above all else.

Same with the military, billions of dollars and millions of jobs need perpetual enemies to justify their own existence; again prioritizing expenditures to keep themselves healthy and need based employment first, above all else.

Until the children of Iran and Israel come of age and take control away from the war monger extremist leaders, there will no changes and no lasting peace.

As far as the US being in the middle of the conflict, we just never learn to simply not provoke people into wanting to destroy the world.

When people are willing to martyr themselves to get you out of their lands, we really should learn to stay the hell out of it.

Government spying on the people, new threats foreign and domestic being created at record levels.

Paranoia and military style governments and security have brought us to where we are today.

Every decade, the identity of the new threat changes, but the creation of new and more heinous threats are escalating, with no end in sight.

The US isn't scared, they actually welcome new and more deadly threats to justify their own actions.
