CBO: Deficit to shrink to lowest level of Obama presidency

I think the term deficit is a misnomer.....it's just word used as a distraction.....who the hell keeps track? the only time it would be paid as
a debt is if we politically piss someone off......like China.....money is only as good as people are civil.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

That a mute point.  The bank that issues the US currency has been printing currency in the tune of TRILLIONS of dollars for years.  Once that currency washes up on our shores, the USG be able to run a surplus.  Problem is, what will be the value of the currency if nobody else in the world wants it?

Lets see if Druggy Rush is a man of his word!

(If El Drugo does leave, it will be one of the greatest accomplishments of ObamaCare.)

Obama Fulfills Republican Campaign Promises:

~Mitt Romney’s vow to reduce unemployment to 6 percent by the end of his first term in office was almost
universally hailed as bold and ambitious. But under President Obama’s stewardship, the economy improved
much quicker than Romney promised: The unemployment rate has dropped steadily since the 2012 election,
and dipped to 5.9 percent in September.

~President Obama has also blown Rick Perry’s vague promise to create 1.25 million jobs out of the water.

~“Mitt Romney and I will protect and strengthen Medicare so that the promises that were made that people
organize their retirements around, like my mom, will be promises that are kept.”—Paul Ryan, August 19, 2012

There’s some reason to doubt that Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) was sincere when he promised to protect Medicare,
given that he has repeatedly proposed plans to end the program as we know it. But if the 2012 vice-presidential
nominee does genuinely want to ensure that Medicare remains strong, then he’ll surely be glad to learn that
President Obama’s Affordable Care Act has significantly improved the program’s financial outlook. Since
Obamacare became law, Medicare’s Hospital Insurance trust fund’s solvency has been extended by 13 years.

~“I’ve developed a program for American energy so no future president will ever bow to a Saudi king again
and so every American can look forward to $2.50-a-gallon gasoline.”—Newt Gingrich, February 22, 2012.

By Gingrich’s standards, President Obama has been stunningly successful: The national average gas price
is now $2.32 per gallon, marking the lowest level since May 2009. Of course, gas prices have tumbled due
to a wide range of factors, few of which involve Obama — but none of which involved bowing to a Saudi king.

~“Well, if China can have 5 percent growth, and India can have 5 percent growth, and Brazil can have
5 percent growth, the United States of America can have 5 percent growth”—Tim Pawlenty, June 18,
2011

As Politico reported at the time, forgettable 2012 candidate Tim Pawlenty’s pledge to spur 5 percent GDP
growth was “mocked by some economists and Republican critics as unachievable in a country this large.”
But in the third quarter of 2014, the Obama economy hit Pawlenty’s benchmark

~“We will curb Washington’s spending habits and promote job creation, bring down the deficit, and
build long-term fiscal stability.”—2010 GOP Pledge to America.

When Republicans took control of the House in 2010, they repeatedly stressed that reducing the federal
budget deficit was a matter of peak national importance. Which makes their repeated proposals to blow
up the deficit by billions rather odd.

But thankfully for the GOP, with President Obama and Democrats blocking budget-busting proposals
like Paul Ryan’s tax plan, the deficit has steadily dropped throughout Obama’s presidency.

How does Barack Obama fare? Scholars had a mixed view of him. Obama ranks 18th overall and, among
the modern presidents (those since FDR), he is in the middle of the pack. He ranks behind not only Clinton
and Eisenhower but also Reagan, Johnson, Kennedy, and George H.W. Bush.  Obama ranks ahead of
Gerald R. Ford, Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon, and George W. Bush (who was ranked 35 overall).

Obama needs to kill more Americans to move up the rankings.  Killing is a sign of leadership and good governance.  Plunging a nation into a civil war is the mother of all presidential accomplishments, followed of course by world wars.

And yet Obama has killed how many leaders of terrorists groups intent on attacking America?
Osama BinLaden, Mullah Sangeen Zadran, deputy operational commander of the Haqqani Network;
Waliur Rehman, the deputy emir of TTP; Mullah Nazir, who led the TTP in South Waziristan; Hassan
Gul, the one-time Osama bin Laden emissary to Abu Musab al Zarqawi; Abu Yahya al Libi, who served
as Al Qaeda's chief of staff; Abu Usman Adil, leader of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan; Badr
Mansoor, Al Qaeda leader in Pakistan; Senior Al Qaeda leaders Abu Miqdad al Masri, Abd al Rahman
al Yemeni, Atiyah Abd al Rahman, Ilyas Kashmiri, Baitullah Mehsud,  just to name a few.
And of course Cicero's Best Friend For Life, Terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki.

It's still not a large enough pile of dead bodies.  If he wants to rank higher, he really needs to start getting the body count up.  Historians love body counts.  If Obama can drop a nuke in a civilian population, he could shoot up past Truman.

Obama's terrorist "BODY COUNT" is impressive isn't it!
Cissy sides with the terrorists.  He thinks they are not really bad men intent on killing Americans...

I side with nobody.  You present a false dichotomy.  I think they are really bad men defending their land from U.S. imperialism and hegemony.  You said it yourself, the Iraq war was a war for oil and profit.  At whose expense - the hundreds of thousand of Arabs killed?  You've made the argument of an illegal war, and now you call the people "terrorists" defending themselves from illegal aggression.  Are the U.S. soldiers that invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, and fly drones into sovereign air space dropping bombs on Arabs considered terrorists?  Or are they "hero's"?  John Murtha says terrorists.

Box's sides the state sponsored mass slaughter.  He thinks 3rd world people strapping bombs to themselves and children to defend their land against the most technologically advanced and well funded military in the world, and to overthrow U.S. puppet governments is "terrorism".  U.S hegemony must never be challenged.

Keep piling up the dead bodies Obama...Someday you can be ranked in the top all time mass murderers.

No, I was saying what YOU have SAID, not what you THINK.  You've SAID the invasion of Iraq was illegal, you've SAID it was for oil, and you DID present a false dichotomy when you said I side with the "terrorists".

Unless you are taking back all your posts that SAID the Iraq war was an illegal war of aggression, otherwise I'll take you at your word.

BTW...I said what I think...The "terrorists"(as you call them) are people defending their land from foreign invaders maintaining U.S. hegemony.  Now what do you think?  Do you think Muslims woke up one day hating Americans because of our "freedom"?

Walmart Raises Wages For 500,000 Employees

Walmart’s decision to raise the wages of 40% of their employees is a big win for liberals and progressives.
It is also a clear sign that Democrats are gaining ground in their effort to raise wages.

Walmart didn't raise wages because they care about their employees. They care about their bottom line.
But regardless of the reason, this is very good news. For everyone boycotting Walmart, well done.
