You sound like Iran actually has a government with any real power. Rule in Iran beings and ends with the Ayatollah...period..and if he says no, this deal is as dead as General Franco....if he says Iran is leaving the deal halfway through, that's what happens..Iran wins in this deal from start to finish.
All we have is a framework...The big sticking point will be who will get (hold) Irans enriched Uranium,,,unless its a Country from the West, you might as well as say Iran has giving up nothing on this point,

And I actually wouldn't take Max Fishers' work as gospel

US Deployment Facts-How Many US Troops are Overseas?

The historical Byzantine, Ottoman, Roman & British Empires relied heavily on foreign military bases during their peaks of power. After World War II the United States created the most extensive network of military bases ever, allowing for the deployment of Air & Naval Forces in moments.

No military in the history of the world has been more widely deployed as the United States.

Currently, the United States has military personnel deployed in about 150 Countries... This covers 75% of The World's Nations.

FOR HISTORICAL TROOP LEVELS BY COUNTRY 1950-2012 - CLICK THE INTERACTIVE MAP BELOW

* This is truly a FUN & ADDICTING INTERACTIVE MAP. Feel free to play with the settings in the bottom left hand corner of the map. You can zoom and filter down to specific regions/Countries, change the colors, add number labels and MUCH MORE.

Click here to view Historical Military Troop Data full screen
* Since Deployment levels can vary greatly each month we used the Official D.O.D. September 31st Report for EACH YEAR'S DATA

* The map is a current world map so former Countries like The USSR & Yugoslavia are associated with what would be the best equivalent modern day Country (Russia & Macedonia)

*Additional Notes-US Numbers include Overseas Territories except for Puerto Rico. UK Deployment Numbers include Overseas Territories like Diego Garcia. During the Iraq War the D.O.D. grouped troops in Iraq & Kuwait together and did not separate the #'s by Country. 2009-2011 Korea Numbers are Estimates as the D.O.D. listed them as "Not Available"

Total Active Duty Troop Levels as of Deptember 30th, 2012 - 1,388,028

Air Force - 328,812

Army - 546,057

Marines - 198,820

You read the deal???
It sounds like you read the FoxSnooze edition.

Here are some highlights of what they "gave up":
Centrifuges
Iran will be allowed about 6,000 centrifuges: 5,000 at its Natanz facility and 1,000
at Fordow. It can only use first-generation IR-1 centrifuges, and has to give up other models.
Centrifuges are pieces of equipment you use to enrich uranium, a natural ore,
into nuclear fuel. If you enrich uranium long enough in centrifuges, it can be used to make a
nuclear bomb. Iran currently has about 20,000 centrifuges, so it will have to give most of
them up. It will also be allowed to use only its very old, first-generation centrifuges.

Uranium enrichment
Iran will be allowed to enrich uranium to only to 3.67 percent.
Plain English: Iran will be allowed to turn raw uranium into the kind of fuel that can be
used for a nuclear power plant. But nothing more.

Stockpile
Iran will be required to reduce its stockpile of enriched uranium from 10,000
kilograms to 300 kilograms.

Plain English: Iran has to give up a stunning 97 percent of its nuclear stockpile.

Sanctions relief
The US and European Union will suspend sanctions after IAEA inspectors confirm
that Iran has completed its requirements under the deal. United Nations Security
Council sanctions will be lifted once Iran completes all actions addressing nuclear
concerns. US sanctions related to non-nuclear matters, such as Iran's state-sponsored
terrorism, will remain in place.
Sanctions will snap back on Iranian violation.

Nuclear facilities
Iran will be allowed to use its nuclear facility at Natanz for enrichment. It can also use its
facility at Fordow for research as a nuclear physics lab, but no fissile material will be allowed there.

Plutonium plant at Arak
Iran will be required to rebuild its plutonium plant at Arak such that it will only make energy-grade
plutonium, and will ship out its spent plutonium. It is barred from heavy-water reactor use.

Inspections
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors will have access to Iran's nuclear sites,
the uranium mines and mills, centrifuge plants, and supply chains. It will monitor dual-use
technologies. It can access "suspicious sites."
This is just a partial list.
I'm surprised you are so uninformed on this issue since you seem interested in the deal.    Perhaps
you should expand you sources beyond FoxSnooze to some actual news sites.

Thank you for confirming everything I just said and posted.

The Iranians get to keep their entire nuclear infrastructure....There is nothing there that says anything is dismantled, just drawn down to minimal levels for a set amount of time.

The Iranians get to keep enriching uranium....At a minimum for a set amount of time.

The Iranians get sanctions lifted....The absolute main thing that that they wanted.

So I ask again...What exactly have they given up?

The Bomb! Which was the plan.

Show me in 'The Deal' where they give up their nuclear weapons technology.

Quoted Text

Iran’s breakout timeline – the time that it would take for Iran to acquire enough fissile material for one weapon – is currently assessed to be 2 to 3 months. That timeline will be extended to at least one year, for a duration of at least ten years, under this framework.

So, let's recap (yet) again.

Iran gets to keep it's ENTIRE nuclear infrastructure.
Iran gets to keep enriching uranium.
Iran gets to keep it's nuclear weapons technology.
Iran gets sanctions lifted.

For the third time I ask.....What did they give up again?

I will answer your question once again, but I doubt you can see past your agenda.
Iran gets to keep it's ENTIRE nuclear infrastructure.
NOPE!
Iran currently has about 20,000 centrifuges, so it will have to give most of
them up. It will also be allowed to use only its very old, first-generation centrifuges.
(First generation cannot make Nuke Fuel)
Iran currently has about 20,000 centrifuges, they can keep only 6,000.
If they had 20,000 centrifuges, and they can only keep 6000,
THEN THEY HAVE GIVEN UP PART OF THEIR "ENTIRE NUCLEAR
INFRASTRUCTURE"!

(So easy even a caveman can understand it... but for some reason not Bucky!)

Iran gets to keep enriching uranium.
Yes.
Iran will be allowed to enrich uranium to only to 3.67 percent.
(Cannot be used to make a bomb)
They will be allowed to turn raw uranium into the kind of fuel that can be
used for a nuclear power plant. But nothing more.

Iran gets to keep it's nuclear weapons technology.
Iran can also use its facility at Fordow for research as a nuclear physics lab,
but no fissile material will be allowed there. (No fuel, No advances in
bomb production.)

Iran gets sanctions lifted.
If there is a violation???
Sanctions will snap back on Iranian violations.

I can type what Iran "gave up"... I can explain it for you, but I can't learn it for you.  You are still free
to deny the facts of this agreement, and there isn't much that I can do about your denial of
those facts.

Boxy, you either just don't get it or you're so just much of a lefty jihadi,

They DO get to keep their infrastructure. That ILLEGAL, giant, super fortified, underground enrichment complex at Fordow is NOT going to be dismantled. All those centrifuges that they are 'giving up' are not going to be destroyed, but merely moved off site for some years before they are given back to them.

They also don't give up the heavy water reactor at Arak.

You don't need heavy water reactors and massive underground complexes to run a peaceful nuclear program.
