Bill Internicola is a 91-year-old, Brooklyn-born, World War II veteran. He fought in the Battle of the Buldge and received the Bronze Star for bravery. He’s voted in Florida for 14 years and never had a problem. Three weeks ago, Bill received a letter from Broward County Florida stating “You are not a U.S. Citizen” and therefore, ineligible to vote. He was given the option of requesting “a hearing with the Supervisor of Elections, for the purpose of providing proof that you are a United States citizens” or forfeit his right to vote.
This decorated World War II veteran is just one of hundreds of fully eligible U.S. citizens being targeted by Governor Scott’s massive voter purge just prior to this year’s election, according to data obtained from Florida election officials by ThinkProgress. The purge list, according to an analysis by the Miami Herald, targets mostly Democrats and Hispanics.

Put him on the 'Kill List'....Right Wing Terrorist!
Thank you Box Thinkprogress for your distortions.
Distortions??? What distortion is that???

Presenting the story in a way to make the exception look like the norm. Instead of whining, the democrats should be out there organizing making sure their LEAGAL constituents are registered before election day. Just sayin...
Legal Citizens WERE Registered before election day. The GOP Voter Suppression drive took them off. Suppose you show up to vote this November and discover that Governor Cuomo by "MISTAKE" deleted a huge section of the voters registrations... and most of those deleted just happened to be Republicans?
The Right Wing Whiners on this board would be crying and demanding action. (As long as it's Democrats who's votes are stolen, they seem unconcerned.)

For the last 40 years she’s operated a dog boarding and grooming business — Bobbi’s World Kennels — with her husband in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Maureen is 60 years old and has been a registered voter in the state for the last four decades. She regularly votes at the church around the corner from her home. Two weeks ago she received a letter from the State of Florida informing her that they had received information that she was not born in this country and, therefore, was ineligible to vote. She was given an option to request “an administrative hearing to present evidence” disputing the determination of the State of Florida that she was ineligible to vote.

World War II vet in Broward on list of potential "noncitizen" voters
Bill Internicola has lived in the United States 91 years and fought for his country in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, but according to the state of Florida he may not be a citizen.
Internicola received a letter in May from the Broward Supervisor of Elections stating that it received "information from the State of Florida that you are not a United States citizen; however you are registered to vote."
Potential ... still registered to vote. I fail to see any mention of where the Governors office is responsible for any inaccuracies .. rather a county elections supervisor.

I haven't read to much into this, but it seems as if 6 months for legal voters to correct any errors would be enough.

The Governor of Florida has hammered Democrats with this Voter Suppression policy... but Cicero thinks there is really no problem.
OK Cic. Lets even things out and just delete ALL REPUBLICANS IN FLORIDA from the voting registry. I'm sure there will be some non citizens and some illegals on the list. Lets delete all Republican registrations and as Cic points out above... "it seems as if 6 months for legal voters to correct any errors would be enough".

the only sources that are slanted are the ones any of the right-wingers on this site bring information from. That's the way the lefties want it, so that's the way it has to be.
I'm glad that we now have MT as the site "Official Slant Check" to verify which stories he considers to be biased.
I have noticed quite a few Very Right Wing posts from Very Right Wing sites... but haven't read a word about their bias MT.
You seem to have selective enforcement of your Official Bias Policy!
