In the interest of fairness... A January video from the Republican Broadcasting System (FoxSnooze).
This Fox News Report claims as many as 5 million voters could be impacted by this law.

(The republicans are desperate)

Even the League of Women Voters... is involved against this GOP Vote Grab.

The Governor of Florida has hammered Democrats with this Voter Suppression policy...
but Cicero thinks there is really no problem.

OK Cic.
Lets even things out and just delete ALL REPUBLICANS IN FLORIDA from the voting registry.  I'm sure there will
be some non citizens and some illegals on the list.
Lets delete all Republican registrations and as Cic points out above...
"it seems as if 6 months for legal voters to correct any errors would be enough".

Box, how else to you clean up the mess ACORN made down there?  This cleaning of the voter rolls isn't happening randomly, it is happening in response to widespread fraud.  How do you suggest it be corrected? (It's a rhetorical question - you don't want it corrected - it is fraud that favors of democrats)

WEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) --
Miami-Dade Police have rounded up suspects who they said participated in voter fraud supposedly committed during the last presidential election.

Paid volunteers for ACORN, a volunteer grassroots organization that registers people to vote, allegedly made up names to inflate the number of people they registered to vote in South Florida. They supposedly made up as many as 900 bogus names and registered them to vote in last year's election.
On Wednesday morning, police brought the suspects to the Turner Gilford-Knight Jail for booking.

Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez-Rundel wanted to emphasize that these false identities were never used to inflate votes in the 2008 election. "It's important that the public understands it had nothing to do with voting. These people did not vote. They didn't go to the polls to vote. They didn't submit absentee ballots. They were recruiting to register to vote," she noted.

For their part, ACORN managers were actually the first to notice the problem, and they brought the problem to the attention of the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. "Today's action vindicates our quality control measures," noted Brian Kettering, spokesperson for ACORN. "We self-police our voter registration work."
Kettering also took the opportunity to address concerns that ACORN has been at the center of many criticisms of voter fraud during the 2008 presidential election. "We were telling the truth all along about our voter registration work while the right wing noise machine was fabricating lies about us," he stated.

In Miami, Florida, former ACORN voter registration canvassers Maurice Childress, Kashawn John, Liltovia Rhodes, Carlos Torres, Evangeline Williams, Lilkevia Williams, and Richard Williams, were all convicted of “false swearing in an election.” All were sentenced to probation, community service, and forbidden to participate in political campaigns, according to the office of Katherine Fernandez Rundle, State Attorney for Miami-Dade County. In addition, Childress and Richard Williams were ordered to serve 72 days and 125 days in jail, respectively.

Arrest warrants were issued for three other former ACORN canvassers in the Miami area who are apparently still at large.

Not derangement but reality...I know it is tough to read the FACT there was registration fraud committed by ACORN...You would like people to believe the EVIL REPUBLICANS are just arbitrarily purging the voter rolls of Democrats to suppress the vote so they can win...Other thinking people look at cause and effect.

Keep posting the thinkprogress distortion with no context...Some people will believe it without question.

I have no idea, or any interest in finding out.  Do your own research.

Go ahead... I'll wait.

Exactly what I thought you'd say.  Blame Republicans for disenfranchising Democrats, but for all you know it could be a majority of republicans that were sent this letter.

Talking about taking only the FACTS that you want from a slanted news source, without knowing the whole story.

When you can PROVE that Rep's targets democrats - then come back.  So far, all the stories seem to lack the details of which party was most impacted.

I did some research...According the Thinkprogress, it seems the "suppressed" voters consist of;

Democrats
Hispanics
Blacks(only those wearing "hoodies")
Gays
Lesbians
Transgender
Women (there is a war on them)
Senior Citizens

"The Miami Herald is a reputable source... so is the Tampa Times... or is anything other than FuxNews considered
a suspect source???

MIAMI — Hispanic, Democratic and independent-minded voters are the most likely to be targeted in a state
hunt to remove thousands of noncitizens from Florida's voting rolls, a Miami Herald computer analysis of
elections records has found.

Whites and Republicans are disproportionately the least-likely to face the threat of removal, the analysis
of a list of more than 2,600 potential noncitizens shows. The list was first compiled by the state and
furnished to county election supervisors and then the Herald."

Justice Department To Florida:  "Stop Purging Voter Rolls"!

The Justice Department sent a letter to Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner Thursday evening demanding
the state cease purging its voting rolls because the process it is using has not been cleared under the Voting
Rights Act.

DOJ also said that Florida’s voter roll purge violated the National Voter Registration Act, which stipulates that
voter roll maintenance should have ceased 90 days before an election, which given Florida’s August 14 primary,
meant May 16.

All 67 Florida Election Supervisors Suspend Governor Rick Scott’s Voter Purge

On Thursday, the Justice Department demanded Florida Governor Rick Scott end his extensive purge of
registered voters from the rolls because it was in violation of federal law. Scott still hasn’t formally responded
but his county election supervisors have already taken action.

All 67 Florida elections supervisors said Friday they will discontinue a state-directed effort to remove names
from county voter rolls because they believe the state data is flawed and because the U.S. Department of
Justice has said the process violates federal voting laws.

Sad to think that even with ALL of the evidence/proof of 'voter/election fraud' that went on in the last election......some staunch liberal nut jobs actually want the failed system to stay the same!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!  Bumbler seems to imply that Florida Election supervisors are "ALL Staunch Liberal Nut jobs".
All 67 Florida Election Supervisors, whether they are Republican or Democrat are (according to Bumbler)
"Staunch Liberal Nut jobs"... every one in the entire state of Florida.
Amazing!
