No tax district for REMS keep it private and either earn enough money to pay for itself or go under. Lawn and leaf pickup could be cut as well.

I agree. Same for the town selling leaf bags. Soon we will be called 'rotter-mart'!

400 votes? lol. The NO NEW TAX PARTY will spread Countywide to replace the CONS party which has became another KRAT liberal echo. The NO NEW TAX Party will attract more votes than all the other third party lines-put together.

It's really funny to read stooges and dupes from both the major parties attack this line because it actually stands for something. A year round tan-Miami stylin!

It might attract votes but i doubt it will beat the other third party  lines  GENOA

dream on. it is at the bottom of the ballot and no one cares about these kinds of fringe parties. they will not waste their votes on candidates who can't deliver on their promises.

I love a good joke, that is why I come here.

You may be correct....but that is clearly not what I am hearing. I'm hearing just the opposite. But who knows....it's still very early yet.

The usual mud slinging, that people are sick and tired of, hasn't started yet either.

Let these guys get through the objections and get on the ballot before counting the votes.

The "No New Tax" Party candidates are unique individuals.  They listen to the concerns of our residents and take time to discuss the issues.   They don't just drop off their literature and move on to the next house.  Hopefully the voters will realize that these guys are committed to serving the people...not themselves!

The No New Tax Party candidates are picking up more votes every day and by November they should have all the votes they need to win.

I just hope the voters will voice their concern and then let the candidates get to work for their concerns....it's nice to listen
and make a list, but they need the time to whittle down that list too.....and I'm sure they will.....

Hey, I just heard that the founders of the No New Tax Party ballot initiative have been informed by the Schenectady County Board of Elections that their petitions have passed the challenge period, and that the No New Tax Line will be ROW “F” on the ballot for  the upcoming General Election to be held on November 3, 2009 !

So for those who may not know yet.....Brian McGarry is running in the Conservative Party Primary for Rotterdam Town Supervisor against Fran DelGallo and Steve Tommasone.  Brian is the only enrolled Conservative in the race.
and......
Councilman John Mertz is running for re-election and is in the Republican Party Primary for Town Board against Joseph Suhrada and Joseph Signore.  John is a two-time Rotterdam elected Town Councilman.
and........
Mike O’Connor is running in the Republican Party Primary for a two-year term to the Town Board against Stanley Marchinkowski.
and........
Brad Littlefield is running in the Conservative Party Primary for a seat on the Schenectady County Legislature District Four.  Brad is running against; Michael Viscusi, Judith Dagostino, Mary Berrie and Holly Vellano.

They've all got my vote!!

LOL! No way they can beat the Communist/Working Party? How about the Liberal/Conservatives? They will gather more votes than all the 3rd parties put together because they actually stand for something.

Hey, I know exactly what I'm going to do this November.

I'm just going to go in to the voting booth and give a grade to those currently in office.

And that grade?
"F"
