So how about it box why should ex-police have exemptions, why are they above the law from everyone else?

They aren't... I read about this earlier... from what I've read, even active police will be subject to the
magazine limit when they are off duty... just like the rest of us.
Henry... you are posting about issues in a law that hasn't been completed yet as if it was already
the law.

If the board had an award for the most gullible poster... I think Henry would win first prize.

FACTS Henry.. I know that you don't care about them... but most of the rest of us do!

They're trying to change it now do you not get it, and the truth is they will get their exemptions because they're part of the good ol' boys.

What I read that was proposed, is that an off duty cop has to follow the same regulations as the rest of us.
While on duty he will have extended magazines, and rightfully so.

Nothing says a person can't carry 5 guns. I think it is fair to make everyone be treated equally.

I also don't feel that service weapons should be taken home by the police, unless they have carry
concealed permits. Police weapons are openly carried.

Retired cops and judges should not be exempted from the law of the land.

On duty - service weapons open carry or carry concealed with a carry concealed license.

Off duty - carry concealed.

On duty 7 round clips. Off duty 7 round clips.

Amadou Bailo Diallo (September 2, 1975 – February 4, 1999) was a 23-year-old immigrant from Guinea who was shot and killed in New York City on February 4, 1999 by four New York City Police Department plain-clothed officers: Sean Carroll, Richard Murphy, Edward McMellon and Kenneth Boss, who fired a combined total of 41 shots, 19 of which struck Diallo, outside 1157 Wheeler Avenue in the Soundview section of The Bronx.

Diallo was unarmed, which is the law in NYC.(except for cops and judges)

Carry 5 guns??? Why not 10 or 20... sure carry as many as you want with 7 rounds each... or better
yet... you could carry 700 guns with 1 round each!

L4Life wants the cop who responds to a bank robbery to only have 7 round magazines... so the criminals
will have a fair chance!     Duhhhhhhhh

Everyone is complaining that 7 shots isn't enough. The new laws don't prohibit multiple guns.

Well I seem to recall a guy with a knife in Manhattan that the cops went apeshit shooting at him hitting a bunch of bystanders.

They certainly should be limiting their ability to shoot bystanders.

I do want them to be limited to 7 shot clips. I also clearly stated why.

Because I believe the right to carry should be enforced equally to all.

You just continue your desired constitution tampering, making exceptions to the equal treatment rule.

Why can't you fight for equality?

You always fight against it.

You fight to deny people due process too.

George Washington would have shot you in the back.

What about corporate hired armed guards? Do they get exemptions from equality as well?

I seem to recall a time in America, where citizens carried one gun on each hip because one six shooter just wasn't enough.

Before you say this isn't the wild west, I must say that it actually is much more dangerous than the old wild west days.

Criminal will have more than 7 shots.

Thanks to all you hysterical little girls, they will have a better chance against us.

box isn't concerned about equality...on box's side it is still a 'them vs us'........of course only if the rhetoric tickles box's ears and
the stats logically conclude the outcome of the rhetoric, no matter what the mechanisms are behind it....

box also set up camp....typical cold war rhetoric
