Winchester model 1892 in 32 wcf holds 15 rounds in the tubular magazine and as Henry said it's now an illegal gun.Russia, China, Vietnam and Germany all disarmed their citizens by first registering guns then when they were unarmed proceeded to kill anyone who disagreed with the government. It's not the Feds it's the radicals in NYS who passed the law penalizing the law abiding citizens, who'll  have to pay to register their guns every 5 years, can't sell a gun they paid good money for in this state, can't posess a large capacity magazine that was legal last year, and what about pistols with high capacity magazines that will become paper weights.

Is anyone talking about disarming (except the rabid right)?

According to you this is OK what NYS is doing. The same was done in the past one step at a time and registration is the first step, disarming follows as soon as they can get a bill passed which may take another disaster to get done in NYS.

Again for review.... with the new NYS law, ALL MAGAZINES of more than ten bullets must be sold out of state within one year of the law going into effect. If the magazine is not removable, then the gun is illegal...The person owing the weapon is legally disarmed.

OK... NEWS FLASH!!!
Cuomo is now going to ban cars!  YUP it's true!
In NY State there is a law that REQUIRES all cars driven on our roads to be REGISTERED.
Cuomo is registering guns to disarm New Yorkers... so (by that flawed logic) he's also going to ban cars!

To sell drugs you need to be a licensed pharmacist... You must be registered to sell many drugs in NY State
CUOMO IS GOING TO BAN PHARMACISTS!

To sell liquor in NY state, you need to be REGISTERED with a liquor license!!!
Cuomo is going to ban Liquor stores!!!

A new Pew Research poll finds there are now "clear areas of agreement" on a variety of gun control
proposals with 85 percent of Americans in favor of making private gun sales and sales at gun shows
subject to background checks. In addition, 80 percent now support laws to prevent mentally ill people
from purchasing guns. Both measures have broad support across party lines.

A new Washington Post-ABC News poll confirms these findings and also shows 58 percent of Americans
support passing a new assault weapons ban.

Finally, a new National Journal poll finds the coalition that swept President Obama into a second term
— young people, minorities and college-educated women — all back new gun control measures.

The bill, Cuomo said, also includes a "Webster provision" — a life-without-parole prison sentence
for anyone who murders a first responder. The provision was included as a response to a Christmas Eve
shooting in the Monroe County, N.Y., town in which two firefighters were shot and killed while
responding to a blaze.

A measure that we are all assured Cicero will oppose since it includes 'costumed forces'.

The Webster provision is also a feel good law because these nut jobs that kill people for the fun of it usually kill themselves or choose suicide by cop so they'll never see any prison time.

So a person in costume is more valuable then a regular citizen? I don't mind mandatory sentencing but the fact that it only applies to special victims is disgusting >

It's a law aimed at Anti Govt types like you and Cic.  Some of your group are willing to kill someone
just because they are wearing a 'costume'.

Its to show the normal citizens we are just 2nd class and not worthy of the fine protection our elite get, of course you agree with this.

Nah...I agree, the lives of costumed First Responderl are more valuable than non-costumed First Responders.  Just another law that punishes the good samaritan.  If your neighbors house is on fire - DON'T HELP THEM, you're not protected by the law in the eyes of your holy democratically elected leaders.

Aren't you glad NYS lawmakers put less of a value on your lives?  That's because they CARE.

See!  I knew the anti govt types would hate protecting 'costumed' Americans.

Just so you know... laws that are aimed at protecting targets of 'hate groups' like yours, are designed
to protect the group that is in need of protection, by definition, the rest of society is not a target.

You're really making a habit of making wild accusation.  I would harm anybody unless they are attemting to harm me.

There are only a few people on this board that killed people because they were wearing a costume, that is those "proudly" wearing the government issued costume that killed the people wearing the Vietcong costume.

You've made that perfectly clear Cic... you hate uniformed (costumed) Americans, but absolutely love
those in civilian dress... like the Sept. 11th WTC attackers.  They wore no 'costume' but dressed much
like you.
