This is an abomination to the government our forefathers created. We need to take back the government: not republicans, not democrats, not tea partiers, but real honest citizens, regardless of party affiliation. We need people willing and able to serve the people with honor and integrity. I do not care which party they belong to, but the videos from this board meeting are beyond frustrating. We need to hold our elected officials accountable and we need to demand that they act ethically.

Ok, so we got confirmation about fdg's reference to the 'hair thing'.
So was that Ron Serverson(?) referring to this blog when he spoke?

FDG didn't really say that did he? I mean c'mon. To refer to this clown as supervisor is an insult to us all. Parisi was right no matter how he described him!

Sorry Parisi is just as bad. Though FDG looks half asleep most of the time.

How does one even run for a TB position.  Seeing these guys at the meetings has made me say 'hey I could do that'.

People don't vote for honest, intelligent, hard-working individuals.  They vote for someone that sings what they want to hear at the moment or just think that new faces will be better.  They find fault with viable candidates based on a few assumptions so they can justify their vote.  That's why good people don't want to run.  Many on this forum wanted change.  They didn't think about the candidates running as invididuals and their credentials, background and experience.

Gerard is outstanding because he has intelligence, listens and comprehends information and doesn't have a personal pet project.

I'm not going to argue on the GP point (I happen to agree with you) ... but when you find someone willing to run for office with the above credentials, please, let us all know.

GP doesn't have to be intelligent. He brings 'history' to the board. He's been there-done that. Everything GP brings to this board is 'knowledge of the past'. For that, most are grateful. GP appears to be the one steering this ship with facts....past and present. But that isn't because of 'intelligence'. It's because he was there....before!

That is how GP appears to outshine these clowns. Sh!t just falls out of the mouths of these merry band of idiots. It's GP's 'past experience' that puts issues into perspective for the residents.

Besides GP you have nothing, zero on this town board. These mental midgets are putting together a budget right now which I believe will be unworkable when implemented next year. You will see cuts but you will see services affected and public safety put at risk. This is going to be the real legacy of these nitwits. Can you just imagine the four of them behind closed doors at a caucus discussing what will stay and what will go next year. MM playing with his iphone, FDG fast asleep and waking to ask that boob godlewski what is going on, and god only knows what ND is saying. As long as her taxes are lowered of course. Wow folks we are in seious trouble!

HAVE TO DISAGREE.  First, not a GP fan.  But I beieve I possess the ability to differentiate wanna bes' vs. the real deal.  He has his perspectives which we can all agree to disagree over, but he is polished, knowledgeable and able to articulate his position.  How do you like the way ND and MM articulate.  They are allegedly educated people via vocations and degrees, but Heckyl and Jeckyl never the less.  If you have a bone of contention with athe prior administration, that's fine, but at least GP represents the Town well.  Have to side with Bumblethru on his assessment.

Folks, my jaw hit the floor!!!! ND is obviously a really 'short fuse', loose cannon, raucci style town board official. That would be like saying, 'you didn't vote for me, so I will never support your issues'. This town board is beyond reproach. But this latest action by ND breaks all limits!!!

I, like bumblethru was unable to put a post out regarding the Town Bd. meeting, bad case of shock and awe!
Scorecard for the Town Board:
1.  Violation of the recommendation of RFQs for part time attorney from the Ethics Board.  If not for their personal integrity, would have expected a letter of resignation from each of the members on the Supervisor's desk the next day.  Hang in guys, the residents are with you.
2.  Appointment of Michelle Golden to Deputy Clerk.  An illusion far superior than David Copperfield.  In this economic climate, Supervisor defends one day of work per year requrement for a $50+ thousand dollar a year job.  Longo moved over to Hwy. Dep't. run by Longo.  Bob G. states "You gave us a budget to work within and we are!"  Half truth, last I looked at my taxes, I have a Highway levy on my tax bill.  Does it matter if it's Town operating budget or Hwy. budget?  Still everyone's tax dollars no matter how you partition the Town budget.
3.  ND public belittling of BAR nominee over a personal issue.  I will not comment further and at least display some class vs. her NO CLASS!
4.  MM argument with Ms. Lawler.  First Ms. Lawler addressed the entire Board "respectfully", not him individually.  Motion should have been made to table resolution for executive session.  MM claimed much changes between Monday agenda mtg. and Wed. T.B. mtg.  The initial post for this thread was the agenda, and the post date was 4/10/10, which was a Sat.  So agenda must have been out on Fri. the 9th, 5 days before Wed. T.B. mtg.

And none of this even addresses possible (likely) legal action on the SYNCH rezone!  Speaking of this, where did JL weigh in on the legality of this??

  WOW!!!

I had no issue with MM, but ND was a little odd.  But meh, GP was throwing stuff out there about wanting environmental reports...really?  The damn property has been lived on for years and you think their might be an environmental impact?  Sorry its screamed of being in the pockets of Galesi.
