For starters YOU think you know Rotterdam Politics and the taxpayers better than anyone else. You are a self proclaimed expert on the NYS Assembly seat, you are a self proclaimed expert on Ethics yet you have never if at all filed a financial disclosure form with the Town. You pissed of long time residents who toiled for years to make Rotterdam "A Nice Place to Live" all the while you where coddled and cojoled growing up in BINGHAMTON. I have said it before Go Back to where you came from JohnBoy. You have overstayed your welcome. Sooner than later George Jr will show you the door just like Jim Tedisco, George Pataki, the Rotterdam Republicans, and very soon the Rotterdam voters.

Puddy ~ SO, I took your challenge and asked three of the people you mention, what they thought of Mr. Mertz. Honestly, he must have had something to do with your life personally. If so, he deserves your rant! Otherwise, you sound foolish. From the Demo's he is the ONLY one they can stomach ~ ask Diane Martin. Yes, the one who beat Mertz. Tonko doesn't even waste his time with local Rotteram officials, especially anyone who ran against him ~ he was untouchable! Again, you sound foolish. As for "Tom and Jerry" really? You think they are a little pissed? Sure they are and I would imagine why they are so obsessed with him will be for public fodder soon enough. As for Tedisco, don't get ahead of yourself, the jury is still out on that one. Surhada and Santabarbara, in recent conversations, had nothing negative to say about Mertz. Matter of fact, from my understanding Surhada has refused to say anything negative about him. Not sure what Aragosa, a town employee would have to say, but that would be an interesting conversation. As for the PBA, no duh! If anyone questions your raises and contract terms you wouldn't like them either, that's just natural. Do you think the Schenectady cops like Stratton or Paolino?
As for Bumble/Mertz (if that's who it is) being the self-proclaimed expert on Rotterdam politics and ethics, you ~ Puddycat ~ have not shown me anything to think that he's not. It appears to me that since he won his seat on the board the repubs have seen victory after victory. Police commission, EMS, assessor, and everything else seems to sit ok with the taxpayers. Yes, we'll see this year ~ maybe you're right.
Puddy ~ you have an issue with Mertz, we get it. But honestly, if you are going to act like you're smarter than everyone else, show us a little more than some spew with a bunch of names. How's this sound:
