Not being rich is ok with me.  Take Jack Welch for example... a very rich man who is miserable
now that he's left the helm of GE.  He tries to fill his life with what is meaningful but the only
thing Neutron Jack wants is to be back at GE (or some other power position).
Jack Wants Power... and he has none of what is important to him.

I have 'enough' money.  Certainly not rich by anyone's standard, but I'm not that interested in
accumulating wealth.  I do get to ski when ever the weather permits, until this year I used to
rollerblade in my spare time.  I spend a lot of time on the lake in the summer and on the lake
in sleds in the winter...
Unlike Poor Jack... I have most of what I want.  I'm basically a happy guy while Jack, with all
his money, is miserable and, there is no hope in sight.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

without someone telling you that you are a poor poor slob and the rich have everything that you should have gotten?

so if a 1%er opted to trade places with you, it wouldn't be ok with you?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
