A physical examination wasn't necessary for his wounds...
Zimmerman didn't bother to go to the ER with his"LIFE THREATENING WOUNDS"...
There was no need to stop the bleeding, xray for fractures or even put a bandaid on
his "LIFE THREATENING WOUNDS".

The Medical Examiner (expert in the field) didn't say the wounds were serious, or that they were
substantial, or even that they were minor...
She said Zimmerman's wounds  “ were very insignificant”

doesn't matter...
The bleeding wounds prove that Zimmerman was hit at least once by Martin (nose wound) and was on his back (head wounds). The 2nd degree murder charge is a joke.

Zimmerman gets a laugh at his murder trial!

“It’s imminent injury,” Carter explained. “Or imminent fear. So the fact alone that there isn’t an
injury doesn’t necessarily mean that the person did not have a real apprehension of fear. The
fact that there were injuries have a tendency to show or support that that person had a
reasonable apprehension of fear.”

“You don’t have to wait until you’re almost dead until you can defend yourself?” West asked.

“No, I would advise you probably don’t do that,” Carter replied.

That response prompted several seconds of laughter from the usually-emotionless Zimmerman
before he was able to look downward to regain his composure.

Maybe he thinks the 2nd degree murder charge that was filed and the evidence that they are using to prosecute it is a joke.. I know I do...

The charges should be thrown out for lack of evidence to support 2nd degree murder.

In Florida:
Quoted Text
To prove second degree murder, a prosecutor must show that the defendant acted
according to a "depraved mind" without regard for human life. Florida state laws permit the
prosecution of second degree murder when the killing lacked premeditation or planning, but
the defendant acted with enmity toward the victim or the two had an ongoing interaction
or relationship. Unlike first degree murder, second degree murder does not necessarily require
proof of the defendant's intent to kill.

Perhaps Trayvon was in fear for his life when Zimmerman made contact and he saw Zimmerman had a gun.

Zimmerman Testilied that Trayvon said "you are going to die tonight.
and then he reached for my gun, so that's when I grabbed my gun and shot him."

That would suggest Trayvon saw the gun, and was justified in any self defense needed.

Why Did The Obama Administration “Organize And Manage” Protests Against George Zimmerman?
July 10th, 2013
by Michael Snyder

Is the Obama administration at least partially responsible for turning the George Zimmerman trial into such a huge national spectacle?  Judicial Watch has obtained documents which prove that the Community Relations Service, a division of the Department of Justice, was sent to Sanford, Florida in late March 2012 “to help organize and manage rallies and protests against George Zimmerman“.  This included spending quite a bit of money, arranging meetings between the NAACP and local leaders, and providing police escorts for protesters.  Someone needs to ask Obama why the federal government was doing this.

A story that should have never made national headlines now threatens to unleash a firestorm of racial fury unlike anything we have seen since the Rodney King verdict.  One young man, a neighborhood watch captain, shot and killed another young man.  This kind of thing happens in American cities every single night.  George Zimmerman says that he did it in self-defense.  He should be allowed to have his day in court and that should be the end of the matter.  But instead, this thing has been hyped into a massive national spectacle and it is being used to divide us along racial lines.  And it appears that we have clear evidence that the Obama administration was involved in doing the hyping.

The documents that Judicial Watch was able to obtain contain some absolutely startling information.  Apparently the role of the Obama administration in these protests was quite substantial…

*****

JW filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the DOJ on April 24, 2012; 125 pages were received on May 30, 2012. JW administratively appealed the request on June 5, 2012, and received 222 pages more on March 6, 2013. According to the documents:

March 25 – 27, 2012, CRS spent $674.14 upon being “deployed to Sanford, FL, to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.”
March 25 – 28, 2012, CRS spent $1,142.84 “in Sanford, FL to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.
March 30 – April 1, 2012, CRS spent $892.55 in Sanford, FL “to provide support for protest deployment in Florida.”
March 30 – April 1, 2012, CRS spent an additional $751.60 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31.”
April 3 – 12, 2012, CRS spent $1,307.40 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance, conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanford.”
April 11 – 12, 2012, CRS spent $552.35 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance for the preparation of possible marches and rallies related to the fatal shooting of a 17 year old African American male.”

*****

But the involvement of the Department of Justice went far beyond just spending money and helping to organize and manage the protests.

By Dean Chambers Reports have come in from eye witnesses in Sanford, Florida that the New
Black Panther Party, an extremist group that has called for the killing of
George Zimmerman if he is found not guilty, is busing in thousands to that town.
Sanford is the location of the trial and near the place where the shooting of
Trayvon Martin by Zimmerman occurred. There have been threats of riots if
Zimmerman is not found guilty and it is believed that the New Black Panther
Party and other extremist groups will attempt to take advantage of racial
tensions after a non guilty verdict by organizing riots.
Local police should be prepared for riots and Governor Rick Scott should be
prepared to call in the National Guard at a moment's notice if needed. Local
authorities should be ready to act and not allow this to create a situation like
the South Central Los Angeles riots of 1992 after the verdict in the trial of
the police officers that had beaten Rodney King.
It must also be remembered that these events are not “spontaneous” as the
left wing media likes to portray them. They are deliberately organized. The
riots in Los Angeles in 1992 were organized by several extremist left wing
community organizer type groups including the local chapter of the Revolutionary
Communist Party.
It should surprise no one that leftist groups are prepared to ignite rioting
after the upcoming verdict in the George Zimmerman trial. Peaceful
demonstrations
should be allowed, but any degree of violence should immediately  be stopped by local authorities.
This story will be updated if and when new information comes in. We strongly
advise anyone to avoid being involved in any efforts to incite riots and stay
out of the area if possible. We also condemn any efforts to organize or incite
riots.

I watched some of the opening arguments. If  I was a potential juror in that case I wouldn't have made it though the process to be a juror as I already
formed an opinion.

If GZ didn't get out of his car and follow TM none of this would have happened. I would find him guilty of at least manslaughter.

he put himself in that situation by following a young man who was just
walking down the street not bothering anyone.

Zimmerman, a much larger man, followed Trayvon BECAUSE he had a gun.  If he was unarmed, he would
have stayed in the shadows and sulked as he did many other times when reporting 'suspicious people.

Zimmerman is a GunHugger who looked at himself as the LAW.  He couldn't wait for a legitimate
chance to use his piece and shoot someone who he was sure 'deserved it'.
