Zimmerman’s defense"
You can legally murder someone so long as you scared them enough they acted in self-defense first?

Or

Saying “creepy-a** cracker”, makes you a moral monster. Even if you could prove that the term is
deeply offensive, is the appropriate penalty for attaching “cracker” to the extraordinarily accurate
description “creepy-a**” when you’re trying to escape a terrifying aggressor like George Zimmerman?

If someone is "scaring you"(an emotion) you would attack someone and not run the other way and call the police?  That was Trayvon's option, he appears to have chosen to assault the person he was scared of.  If he ran and called the police, Zimmerman could have been charged with harassment and Trayvon would still be alive.

If they don't, then it was nothing but public pressure that forced a murder charge because I'm not sure this evidence supports even involuntary manslaughter.

I don't know how much of a fair trial he is actually getting, there has been months of non stop coverage of this and it hasn't been fair and balanced, you have those like Nancy Grace who do nothing but offer her opinions but people take it as fact. How many of those jurors minds were already made up before the trial even started. Then add the fact that there might be a repeat of the LA riots if some don't like the verdict, the calls of no justice no peace were already being yelled by many, will those calls be enough intimidation to the jurors to go against what they really believe or want to do.

My guess... Zimmerman will walk or get a slap on the wrist for murder.

The prosecutors really have nothing and the last couple of days proved that, many tried to use the race card before the trial and that back fired after we heard the "crazy a** cracker" comment was made, now all of a sudden they're trying to back away from the race card and act as if saying "cracker" was just how people talk down there, if Zimmerman called him a n1gger it would have been a different story and we both know that.

Cracker is a term of endearment.  You didn't know that?

No matter what names were used by either the Man with the Gun or the Kid with the Iced Tea...
Racial slurs don't justify murder.

Wait a minute?  You made a HUGE deal out of what you thought was a racial slur when they released Zimmerman's 9-11 phone record. Just a few months ago, what was thought to be a racial slur by Zimmerman was evidence he was a racist stalker and of his guilt, but now Trayvon's racial slur isn't evidence that HE was the racist aggressor and Zimmerman was the victim of a racially motivated attack.

Box never ceases to amaze me when selectively playing the race card.

Bernie De La Rionda  has to be the best defense attorney ever in the history of lawyers, because he can play both parts well.

How can a prosecutor be a defense attorney in the same trial? Well wonder no more, all you have to do is listen to the testimony of his 'star witnesses'

On this board, mentioning that 'race' exists is playing the race card!

Nah, just your hypocrisy when you thought race was a motive when you wrongfully believed Zimmerman used a racial slur, but NOW when you know for a FACT it was Travon that used a racial slur before straddling over the top of Zimmerman and beating on his head.  Or as the witness called it "ground and pound".

It's your selective mentioning of race is when it's used as a race card.

I've heard racial slurs from both sides.  It may or may not be a motive for the murder... I don't know.

Another story...
a Gunhugger walks into a restaurant.
GunHugger insults an unarmed Iced Tea drinker... then shoves the TeaDrinker.
They have words... GunHugger shoves TeaDrinker again.
TeaDrinker shoves back... they exchange blows, both fall on the floor in the struggle.
Gunhugger pulls TeaDrinker on top of him after one of the blows...
GunHugger yells "help" then shoots TeaDrinker killing him.
(GunHuggers plan worked perfectly.)
Once GunHugger is "defending himself"... He can legally shoot even though GunHugger was the aggressor.

Racial slurs are a part of life.  Just look at this board... Even though the board is moderated, there are a
few bigots who get their point across when they feel the need.

IMO. Zimmerman felt that he was on the side of 'justice'.  He felt that he was representing the police
and his actions would be looked at as noble... protecting his community.
As posted above... IMO Zimmerman will walk or a slap on the wrist.. but who knows.  All of us are
making suppositions based on third hand press reports, witnesses stories at the time of the incident,
and now changed stories in the trial.
Some at the trial saw Zimmerman's wounds as serious, others as minor.
We heard testimony of the person on top using MMA tactics... Zimmerman trained in MMA, yet the
witness said Trayvon was on top.

This case is just beginning...

What we think is irrelevant...
What the jury thinks is all that will matter.

I don't recall Zimmerman shoving Trayvon.  The Prosecuter is accusing him of STALKING not assault.  Trayvon could have called the police and said he was being stalked and harassed.  He could have ran away.

Your analogy does not represent what happened between Zimmerman and Martain based on witness testimony.  You began embellishing once you suggested the Gunhugger shoved the tea drinker.

C'mon box, you can do better than that.  I'm disappointed.  LOL

cracker, honkey, white devil= free speech, its just how kids talk, they're expressing themselves
n1gger, coon, porch monkey=hate speech, racist, inciting violence and intimidation

That is how it goes in America today, one group can get a pass while the others can not, I don't care what people say however the hypocrisy is as plain as day.
