I don't recall Zimmerman shoving Trayvon.  The Prosecuter is accusing him of STALKING not assault.  Trayvon could have called the police and said he was being stalked and harassed.  He could have ran away.

Your analogy does not represent what happened between Zimmerman and Martain based on witness testimony.  You began embellishing once you suggested the Gunhugger shoved the tea drinker.

C'mon box, you can do better than that.  I'm disappointed.  LOL

My post does not match your agenda... Not much that I can do about that!

I'll try again:
Another story...A different story... Not the Trayvon murder story... hope you can follow this time
a Gunhugger walks into a restaurant.
GunHugger insults an unarmed Iced Tea drinker... then shoves the TeaDrinker.
They have words... GunHugger shoves TeaDrinker again.
TeaDrinker shoves back... they exchange blows, both fall on the floor in the struggle.
Gunhugger pulls TeaDrinker on top of him after one of the blows...
GunHugger yells "help" then shoots TeaDrinker killing him.
(GunHuggers plan worked perfectly.)
Once GunHugger is "defending himself"... He can legally shoot even though GunHugger was the aggressor.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Start a new thread on wild 'what if' scenarios with a crazy conspiracy twist  if you aren't trying to relate it to the Zimmerman trial.

it is nice that Box was there and saw it all from a few feet away, or maybe God told him what happened.

Chris Serino, lead detective in case of Trayvon Martin killing, takes stand:

~Serino said he thought parts of Zimmerman's story "didn't quite add up."

~Serino said he does not believe Zimmerman went down from a single punch.

~Serino: Struck me as "different/concerning" that he brought up going to  work and class after the shooting.

~"He was being straight-forward in my opinion," Serino said of the interviews he conducted with Zimmerman.

~Serino said he was concerned Zimmerman did not tell Martin he was part of a "Neighborhood Watch"
group when Martin allegedly asked him what he was doing. He said that stood out to him as odd,
because Zimmerman had made reference to mentoring African-American children.
******************************************************************

~On the 911 call Zimmerman said, "I don't know where this kid is." This appears to indicate he understood
Martin was not an adult.

~The prosecution noted when Serino asked Zimmerman about the screams, Zimmerman said,
"That doesn't even sound like me."

I know a guy who was robbed in broad day light in a Boston park and he dropped like a rock from one punch to the nose. The cop is bending the truth IMHO.

The Trayvon defense is, if you feel like you are being stalked, you do not have to use your cell phone to call the police, but rather call your girlfriend and you can confront and assault your stalker.

The cop is making an observation based on his experience in law enforcement... nothing more, nothing less.

At the time of his arrest, George Zimmerman 5'7", 195 pounds according to police records.
Trayvon Martin was 5'11", 158 pounds.

The last statement the head investigator made was that he thought that Zimmerman was telling the truth, you forgot to mention that.

Really Shadow???
I FORGOT???

Obviously I didn't post hours of testimony, just summaries of tweets from the scene...
Like this one from above?

~"He was being straight-forward in my opinion," Serino
said of the interviews he conducted with Zimmerman.

(I made it larger for you this time Shadow, so you wouldn't miss it again.)

Let me give the libertarian perspective.

You can't jump to deadly force for being punched.

Zimmerman always had the option of walking away.

He chose to stand and confront Trayvon.

Zimmerman's head may have even banged into the cement when the two fell to the ground fighting.

Still not a deadly force justified event.

Trayvon's right to travel freely was being infringed.

Now for another perspective.

NYS law requires a person to flee if possible before using deadly force. (except for police)

Zimmerman has the right to not be killed. As does everyone.

The decision for the jury is whether or not he truly feared being killed, and did he provoke the altercation.

You can't start a fight and expect that an jury will let you will get away with killing the person.

Zimmerman was told to stop his active pursuit when he called the police.

My opinion is that Zimmerman was the cause of all events.

He should have taken a plea bargain.

Cicero's comment about calling a friend and not the police when someone is creep stalking you,
what kid in their right mind would call the police and say some guy is following me?

Calling the police would only raise your risk of injury or death.

Call the police, yeah I'm gonna do that.[s]

Deadly force not justified.

No deadly force threat has even been presented. Just a fight.
