Wow...did you forget that you said the Prosecutor should present evidence of innocence and stuff....
You insist that they present equal evidence...so shouldn't appeals apply to both sides????
Doing a flipper here or what?  You thought it was only fair, now your doing a flop!

Did you forget we were talking about a grand jury trial?  Where the defense or ACCUSED can't challenge the facts presented?  And that prosecutors can forbid THEIR witnesses from answering grand jury questions?

The only flipper here is you joebxr.  You flipped from a grand jury trial to a jury trial BACK to a grand jury trial.  And now you think the state should be able to try him again.

Justice is only served when a man is jailed - right Joey?

Our system of justice is based on two principles (theoretically)  a) innocent until proven guilty and b) a person shall not be exposed to double jeopardy (being charged for the same alleged criminal act twice).  That is why the prosecution does NOT get an opportunity to appeal a Not Guilty verdict.  They have one shot to bring their case before the jury, present their case with supporting evidence and give it their best shot.

The Zimmerman-Martin case is eerily similar to the Rodney King case about 20 years ago in Los Angeles.  In each case, the prosecution insisted on indicting on the highest level of crime, and in each case, they did not seem to have the evidence to reach that high of a threshold with their case.  Justice, IMHO, would have been better served if they had gone for more reasonable, more easily proven lesser counts.  At least, they might have had a better chance of getting a conviction on lesser charges that the evidence might have more easily proven.

The prosecution had their opportunity and failed.  Justice as it is in America -- was served.  And I believe that it is still the best justice system in the world even with its shortcomings.

I have to dumb it down for the flag waving idiots that are unable to look at anything government critically.  The only thing that the blind patriots can be critical of are the organized criminals(political parties) putting on the charade.  It's like criticizing the Gambino's and supporting the Lucchese, and never realizing they are a criminal organiziation in the business of extorting money, and formed an allegiance to extort it from everybody, and split the profits.

J. O. Box worships the government. He knows they never do wrong, and if they do- so what?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Funny to watch... everyone posts their 'opinion' except for Graham.  He only posts slogans.

(Maybe he has nothing to say!)

He always has something to say...just has no value and supports his class clown mentality.
What do you expect from a nobody "wannabe"that claims to have a degree from some place advertised on a matchbook cover....
especially since he didn't do the work himself...had someone else trace the dog picture to submit!!!!
Obviously wasted money on an "edjumacasion"

How Some Conservatives Dealt With Their Disappointment
That There Weren’t Riots Over The Zimmerman Verdict

Quoted Text

For days leading up to the verdict in George Zimmerman’s trial, pundits speculated
that there would be riots if the man who claimed to have killed 17-year-old Trayvon
Martin in self-defense were to be found not guilty.

As of Sunday afternoon, peaceful rallies had been planned in cities across the country.
But except for some broken windows and fires in Oakland, California there have been
no “riots.”

This was apparently not good enough for some people, who began spreading the video
above as proof of a riot in downtown Miami over Zimmerman’s acquittal. Seems legit
— except there are no mountains near downtown Miami. A simple Google search would
reveal that no riots had been reported in Florida or anywhere else. The video is from
2011 and it shows hockey fans rioting in Vancouver.
The video was still posted on right-wing blog Gateway Pundit late Sunday morning.
It has since been deleted.

Just a small clarification -- there is no such thing as a Grand Jury Trial.  A  Grand Jury is called by the D.A.'s office to hear evidence and determine if there is enough evidence to hand up an indictment.  The Zimmerman Trial was NOT a Grand Jury Trial but rather a Trial by Jury which came AFTER he was indicted by a Grand Jury.

Why waste your time, box knows full well there has been riots and assaults over this, even the death of 2 brothers are being investigated as possibly linked to the verdict.

He was never indicted by a grand jury... A grand jury was never convined for this case.
They attempted to railroad him by using a special prosecutor.
Even the minority juror, who has been all over the news saying Zimmerman "got away with Murder" said this should have never been brought to trial and was nothing but a show.
This juror also said that she did not feel race was a factor in the killing.... The Feds have a HUGE uphill climb to file any civil rights charges against Zimmerman... Obama knows this and that's probably why he issued that statement on the case last week.
