Prosecution star witness self-nuking on witness stand

She admitted on cross that can't read the letter she "wrote" to Trayvon's parents describing what she heard.
Asked if she could read it, she said "some of it, but not all of it, i don't read cursive"...when asked to read it, she could only read her name.

add to that her deleted tweets just before she testified, her lie about why she didn't go the funeral, and her hostile behavior in the courtroom... the prosecution should have never put her on the stand.

I haven't watched today but did watch some yesterday. I can understand why she didn't want to see her friend in a coffin. Haven't watched today
so can someone tell me about the deleted tweets?
And the letter did she write it herself or did she have someone write what she wanted to say?  As cursive has not been taught in most schools in years
many do have trouble reading it.

I don't have a problem with not going to the funeral, but I do with lying about it.
The deleted tweets info is here

As far as the letter, it was presented as her writing it, but since she can't read it, she could not possibly known what was in it.

Zimmerman would be a free man if he wore a badge.

Even if every single event happened exactly the same.

Watching the trial now, I know I would not make a good witness and I might be upset also.  I know the defense has to do it's job, but the repeated
questions would drive me batty.

She does have inconsistencies.

But in the end Zimmerman should never have followed Travon Martin.

As for her tweets, not surprised as there are many like it from both teens and adults on facebook, myspace and twitter.

This is true, but the fact that she deleted them gives the impression someone was afraid of what they would imply... in reality, they would never be allowed into testimony.

Its not so much about being free. Who is responsible for what ? and how much ?

a person jaywalking, talking on the cell phone and generally not paying attention  gets hit and killed by a drunk driver. whose fault is that ?

Don't you love it how they use a 6-7 year old picture every time they show Trayvon , what's next

They'll do anything they can to fit their agenda to convict Zimmerman.

If you didn't know it, you would swear witnesses called so far are for the defense and not the prosecution.

Neighbor says he saw a man with a red jacket on the bottom of the struggle ( Zimmerman had a red jacket)
Neighbor also says Zimmerman was calm and not agitated after the incident
Policeman and paramedic both say Zimmerman's jacket and jeans were wetter on the back than on the front. indicating he was on his back.
Add to that, the "star witness" from yesterday.
People that want a 2nd degree murder conviction better hope that prosecution has more than this....
If they don't, then it was nothing but public pressure that forced a murder charge because I'm not sure this evidence supports even involuntary manslaughter.

Involuntary manslaughter would be impossible.  Zimmerman used his hand gun, aimed it at Treyvon and knowingly pulled the trigger.  His intent was to stop what he considered an attack.  The gun didn't accidentally discharge.  With the stand your ground law on the books, I don't see how he's not acquitted.  Unless there is some new evidence showing he was the aggressor.  So far there hasn't been any evidence showing that.

A man with a gun sees a kid with an iced tea walking through his neighborhood.
The man with the gun calls police... the police tell the man with the gun not to pursue the kid with the iced tea.
The man with the gun follows the kid with the iced tea anyway against the police advice.

The man with the gun continues to follow the kid with the iced tea... a struggle ensues and the kid with the
iced tea is shot dead.

The man with the gun pleads 'self defense'.

Reports about the man with the gun and the kid with the iced tea both suggest racial overtones.

Witness offer many statements to the police... all give evidence, but none are definitive.
When the trial starts, many of the witnesses for both the defense and the prosecution, change their
testimony from their original police statements.

The trial is in progress.

Zimmerman’s defense"
You can legally murder someone so long as you scared them enough they acted in self-defense first?

Or

Saying “creepy-a** cracker”, makes you a moral monster. Even if you could prove that the term is
deeply offensive, is the appropriate penalty for attaching “cracker” to the extraordinarily accurate
description “creepy-a**” when you’re trying to escape a terrifying aggressor like George Zimmerman?
