My post was based on Zimmerman's comments stereotyping Martin.

I haven't read anything that came out in the trial on Zimmerman passing by 5 white people.  If you post where that was said, I'll apologize.  Otherwise, you are guilty of racial stereotyping by making up a scenario that never happened.

Racist.  I guess that's how you know Zimmerman was profiling...it takes one to know one.

Not trying to start a riot here, Cissy, but you make up scenarios just like this all the time...why is this different???

I read it as a comment that maybe Zimmerman would have ignored the situation if the person was
of another ethnic background...we have no idea of Zimmerman's mindset or optinions about "ethnics".
For all I know, if he saw 2 Italian guys walking he might have followed them, or ignored them too.

Yes, I set up scenarios, but if I said that if Trayvon was being followed by a black person, that Trayvon would not have attacked Zimmerman and bounced his head off the concrete because he was black - would you consider that being racist?  The scenario Box puts out makes an accusation that Zimmerman was racially motivated.  Box being the first to throw the race card is actually being racist by assuming Zimmerman, just by the comment he made "these a$$holes always get away", is somehow code for black and racial profiling.  And he takes that comment even one step further and claims that if he passed 5 white people he would have acted differently.

People are trying to create a racial aspect to this tragedy that isn't there.

The issue on trial is, was the tragic death of Trayvon justified based on the law of self defense.  Not racial.

Listen to the 911 call. Zimmerman:
“This guy looks like he’s up to no good and he’s on drugs on sump in’. It’s raining and he’s just
walking around…He looks black…” A black man just walking around= Criminal to Zimmerman

Despatcher: “Did you see what he was wearing?”

Zimmerman: “Dark hoodie, like a grey hoodie and either jeans or sweatpants and white tennis shoes.
He’s got his hand in his waistband…

Despatcher: “Are you following him?”

Zimmerman: “Yeah…He ran….” Martin ran to get away from Zimmerman.  Zimmerman followed.

LOL!  This guy makes a claim that never existed.  They take Zimmerman's description of Trayvon to the dispatcher as a racial motivation.  The dispatcher asked for a description - he said BLACK.  What was he supposed to say 'I'm not a racist, I don't see color'?

What's this tell us, if you call the police to report what you believe to be a suspicious person because of a recent rash of home invasions, do not describe the race, you can be painted as a racist if the person you think is suspicious is not.

The sad part is, the juror's lives are in jeopardy if they find him not guilty based on the facts presented.  Just because the race baiter's stock goes up by fanning the flame of racism.  What a disgrace!

Yes I agree... a disgrace.

Race Baiter #1 Bill O'Reilly was busy fanning the flame of racism.
Bill O'Reilly Question To Panel: If Zimmerman's Acquitted, Will Violence Follow

July 8, 2013 - Bill O'Reilly expressed his concern tonight that if George Zimmerman ends up
acquitted at the end of his murder trial, there might be a national outrage that could lead
to violence. He said there is a "possibility for damage to be done to the fabric of the
nation" if Zimmerman gets off, while Juan Williams and Mary Katharine Ham agreed that
there might just be some angry outcry.

Williams agreed that the case has been all about race from the beginning, and explained
to O'Reilly that religious leaders in Florida are actually warning people not to riot. Ham
said she hopes that nothing will happen, adding that the media "jumped to make this a
racial morality play" by starting out with a black-and-white narrative and sticking to it.

O'Reilly expressed concern that people may "run out and cause trouble," and even if it's
not violent, there is still the "possibility for damage to be done to the fabric of the nation."
Williams blamed the media's coverage, but did find it "crazy" that a young black kid who
was unarmed ended up getting shot. O'Reilly told him comments like that help fuel violence,
and the media has a responsibility to "tamp that down."

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

The race baiting started LOOOOOONG before O'Reilly posed the question on July 8th.  This started with the 'no justice-no peace' rally headlined by the MSNBC host reverend Al Sharpton.  The threat was made, no justice no peace.  Being concerned about whether there will be violence if Zimmerman is acquitted is a reasonable concern.  After all, thousands were organized and it was broadcast nationally as they chanted it.  If those that rallied believe an acquittal is justice, then there is no worry.

Gotta love the people holding "stop the violence" signs while at the same time yelling "no justice no peace"

Sharpton got his JUSTICE... Zimmerman is on trial and a jury will decide if he's innocent or guilty...
not a family friend.

Had Sharpton and others not voiced their concerns, Zimmerman would likely never been arrested.

Quoted Text
WITHIN HOURS of the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, SANFORD POLICE held a
SECRET MEETING with the PROSECUTOR and the shooter's father, a retired
STATE MAGISTRATE.
The shooter (Zimmerman) was then free to go.

At the rally, "From Anger to Answers" (March 31, 2012, Sanford, Florida), the
Reverend, Al Sharpton gives a rousing 13 minute speech in which he informs
the crowd of thousands of the most recent deviant behavior of the Sanford Police
Department. Here is the ENTIRE SPEECH.

IMO, no matter what the verdict, justice has been served.

C'mon, you know Rodney King was beaten by cops.  That isn't the same, they are authorized to assault anybody they feel threatened by using up to and including deadly force.  That's why the got off.  If Zimmerman was wearing a government issued costume, box would be defending Zimmerman.  The mundane are racists, once you put the costume on, all violence is applied equally.
