You trying to tell us what libertarianism is about is a joke, you probably believe Glenn Beck is a libertarian. By the way most Libertarians would like to see it at a state issue not a federal issue.

The Post was from the "Libertarian Party Platform".  (I guess the actual "libertarian party" should know
what "Libertarians" think.  Ron/Rand Paul are NOT Libertarians... they are REPUBLICANS... YOU KNOW
REPUBLICANS??? RICHARD NIXON... GEORGE WORST BUSH... REPUBLICANS!

The Libertarian Party:
Quoted Text
In the 30 states where voters can register by party, there are 330,811 voters registered
as Libertarians. By this count the Libertarian Party is the third-largest party by membership in
the United States and it is the third-largest political party in the United States
in terms of the
popular vote in the country's elections and number of candidates run per election.

Yes and that's why Libertarians agree that (unless they are going to support Big Govt)
.

Hahaha!

Libertarians don't agree on all issues, but a consensus would likely agree that sensitive issues that government gets involved in should be on a state or local level.  Seven out of nine judges making a decision that affects 300 million people across 50 state, in spite of the will of the people, is quite a lot of power and certainly against most libertarian principles on governing.

The Libertarian Party, which is the party representing Libertarians, sees it as a FREEDOM issue.  Everyone
is free to make up their own mind on the issue... you know like doing weed, or like buying health insurance,
or many other issues...
REPUBLICANS like Ron/Rand Paul oppose FREEDOM of a woman's right to choose.

I don't recall that being their position.  I believe their position is that it is a state issue not federal.  But you knew that.

Of course he did but that won't stop him from spinning his own agenda

The Ron/Rand Paul Clones are REPUBLICANS... Not Libertarians.

Libertarian  Platform:
1.4 Abortion
Quoted Text
Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on
all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to
each person for their conscientious consideration.

Republican Platform:
Quoted Text
"Faithful to the 'self-evident' truths enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, we assert the
sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life
which cannot be infringed. We support a human life amendment to the Constitution and endorse
legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment's protections apply to unborn children."

The Ron/Rand Clone take the REPUBLICAN PARTY stand on abortion and strongly oppose the stated
LIBERTARIAN platform.

Rand/Ron Paul is a Republican... Not a Libertarian.

That is the republican line, but most of my posts on this thread prove that there is.

By almost any measure, issues related to reproductive health and rights at the state
level received unprecedented attention in 2011. In the 50 states combined, legislators introduced
more than 1,100 reproductive health and rights-related provisions, a sharp increase from the
950 introduced in 2010. By year’s end, 135 of these provisions had been enacted in 36 states,
an increase from the 89 enacted in 2010 and the 77 enacted in 2009. (Note: This analysis refers
to reproductive health and rights-related “provisions,” rather than bills or laws, since bills
introduced and eventually enacted in the states contain multiple relevant provisions.)

Fully 68% of these new provisions—92 in 24 states—-restrict access to abortion services, a
striking increase from last year, when 26% of new provisions restricted abortion. The 92 new
abortion restrictions enacted in 2011 shattered the previous record of 34 adopted in 2005.

Abortion restrictions took many forms: bans (6 states), waiting periods (3 states), ultrasound
5 states), insurance coverage (3 states joined the existing 5 with such restrictions), clinic
regulations (4 states), medication abortion (7 states).

It's funny that Roe v Wade was a decision supposedly grounded on privacy rights, and box is resurrecting the faux "war on women" in the midst of the biggest breech of a right to privacy the WORLD has ever been subjected to.  And those rights were violated by the country that considers itself the "land of liberty".

“Today’s so-called ‘conservatives’ don’t even know what the word means.
They think I’ve turned liberal because I believe a woman has a right to an
abortion. That’s a decision that’s up to the pregnant woman, not up to the
pope or some do-gooders or the Religious Right. It’s not a conservative issue at all.”

I am a woman.
When I became pregnant with my daughter one of the first questions the clinic asked me was "are you going to continue this pregnancy?"  I was 20
years old and not into "politics" at all, but I was both shocked and appalled at the question.

There I was just finding out I was pregnant, scared but also amazed and I was asked if I was going to get rid of the life inside of me.

I had NO health issue that would make the dr. even ask such a question.

That was 33 years ago.

There is no war on woman.

There is a war on the unborn.

A young woman isn't even given time to process the pregnancy before being asked if she wants to terminate the baby.
