North Dakota Republicans Pass Anti-Abortion Measures In Senate

SB 2303 serves as a 'personhood' bill that declares that a fertilized egg is a human being, and would shut
down the only women's health clinic in their state.

Federal Judge Strikes Down Idaho 20 Week Abortion Ban As Unconstitutional

Wednesday’s ruling marks the first time a 20 week abortion law has been deemed unconstitutional
by a federal judge, giving hope to women across the country that similar bans in Indiana, Kansas,
Oklahoma, Arizona, Alabama, Nebraska, and Arkansas will eventually be overturned as well.

Anti-abortion activists claim such bills are necessary because they allege that fetuses feel pain
at 20 weeks, but their claim is roundly disputed by science.

The Journal of the American Medical Association has found that fetal pain is unlikely to occur
before the third trimester. Furthermore, the New Scientist reported on the findings of the Royal
College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in England and summarized their conclusion as follows:

Quoted Text
“The report concludes that fetuses under 24 weeks must be pain-free, because
at that age the wiring doesn’t exist to send pain signals from nerves around the body to
the cortex, the area of the brain where pain is experienced. At which later point such connections
form is unknown, so analgesia should still be considered after 24 weeks"

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Wow, all of science disagrees with the activists.

Did they all respond with their collective scientific brain?

Are they basing it on scientific proof?

Go ahead, present proof, not disagreement.

If it saves one life, it's worth it.

It's a good thing those humans get aborted....smaller carbon footprint for the family photo album...ooops...I mean less
facebook posts to their friends and family...unless of course they want to post photos of the procedure...

then again...why not wait until the human is out of the birth canal and juuuuuuust before it takes breath SMASH IT LIKE A BABY
SEAL....OH wait....PETA wouldn't agree with that....or.....maybe they would....hhhmmmmm

what a conundrum

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The baby seals would feel the event... the fetus does not.

and you remember your head folding at birth? the fontanels folding over each other when coming through the birth canal...

even the most base human reflex 'feels'....why do think 1/2 dead people still get morphine when they are actively dying?

BECAUSE WE ASSUME THEY CAN FEEL IT...even though they've had strokes and their neural pathways were damaged..

it doesn't mean they don't work.

and my point about the seal was....why not just allow the killing of the baby when you can't get sleep at night?

what difference does it make...the 'name' game...fetus/baby? they are not very scientific at all...

kind of like taking a sh!t that comes out of one's rectum is STILL sh!t before it evacuates one's rectum...or you could
call it crap/excrement/feces or what ever other scientific name....because all through our digestive system it
has names, from the moment we chew the food in our mouths to the esophagus, to the stomach, to the small intestine,
to the large intestine, to the rectum and passed through the anus....in the end...it's SH!T

LIKE A FETUS IS A BABY IS A HUMAN....no matter what stage it's at....

Yea... that's your view.  I wonder why they don't have a funeral when one of Senders "babies" who is only
4 days from conception dies?
Most that are conceived never make it to birth.  That would mean millions of funerals a year... Right???

those that die 4 days from conception aren't manipulated by a human choice....I'm not against abortion...but the
flippant view and comments of

"it's only this"
"no big deal"
"it's nothing"
"it's the woman's choice"

etc etc....

leaves an ENTIRE 1/2 of the equation out.....not to mention puts ALL that responsibility/risk...on the woman...and
you call yourself a cheerleader for something you have no access to.....nor understanding of

chemical birth control is no different than mechanical birth control or abortion

it IS the woman's choice and that's ALL you can ever say....unless of course you have a uterus

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The GOP War On Women Continues...
North Dakota Senate passes extreme 6-week abortion ban.

Although North Dakota lawmakers — most of whom are Republican (of course)  — overwhelmingly
passed the bill, the proceedings did not go off without a hitch. Sen. Connie Tripplet (D) abruptly stood
and left the Senate as members were preparing to cast their ballots, according to The Associated Press.
Her sudden absence caused a delay in the vote as senators shuffled to quickly pass a motion to formally
excuse her from the chamber.

The passage of this law is nothing short of a frontal assault on the U.S. Constitution, 40 years of Supreme
Court precedent, and the health and fundamental rights of women.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Not Surprised Women Don’t Vote Republican

Quoted Text
On 'Fox News Sunday," retired Rep. Steve LaTourette (R-OH) cited failed Republican
Senate candidate Richard Mourdock's wayward remarks on rape as an example of why the
GOP is badly losing with women voters.

"Mr. Mourdock, for instance, I mean -- we're supposed to wonder why we don't have the
women's vote in this country when we have a candidate suggesting that a child born as
a result of rape is a gift from God? I'm not wondering why we don't have more women
voting for Republicans,"
he said.

LaTourette, who is now a lobbyist, urged Republicans to stop looking for ways to thwart
governance and to step outside their comfort zone.

"If we ever want to be a national party, then we have to look like America. "Today we look like a bunch of white guys below the Mason-Dixon line."
