      You may have underestimated.  REMs claims an average of 2,400 calls per year.  How many received ALS services?  Don't the paramedics always respond first?  What would the billable amount be to an insurance company, probably at least $250.  Now do the math . . . .

Except Avon you all criticized them for not "running like a business" and not billing properly...You cant bash them for one reason and totally underestimate their billing practices and then for another purpose completely exaggerate the numbers........

            Not bashing them, it's over and done with.  Not running "like a business", and taking tax payer bailouts was the issue.  At a minimum, no one is disputing the $240,000 bailout over the past two years, or the $30,000 dollars it cost to put it to the vote.  Unless you know how much the ALS billing that was lost amounted to, it's mere speculation by everyone.  I just pointed out that Senders estimate may very well have been to low . . . . .
