What a great victory!

Putin is put up for the Nobel Peace Prize!

Obama recognizes and legitimizes Assad as ruler of Syria!

The U.S alienates/disassociates itself from the 'so-called' democracy loving freedom fighters trying to topple Assad!

But Obama's greatest victory in all of this is....

Women and children still getting blown apart from Assad's artillery and airstrikes AND NOT A SINGLE CHEMICAL WEAPON WAS USED!!!!

Another Obama VICTORY!
Syria Destroyed Its Chemical Weapons Production & Mixing Facilities

Quoted Text
BEIRUT, (Reuters) - Syria has destroyed all of its declared chemical weapons
production and mixing facilities, meeting a major deadline in an ambitious disarmament
programme, the international chemical weapons watchdog said in a document seen
by Reuters.
"The OPCW is satisfied it has verified, and seen destroyed, all declared critical
production/mixing/filling equipment from all 23 sites,"

Thank You For Your Leadership President Barack Hussein Obama!

Looking at the carnage that continues maybe Assad should of used chemical weapons, the death toll is climbing fast there. How many people in America tell us our 2 nukes in Japan saved lives, why would WMD's be any different over there?

Putin Topples Obama in Forbes Power Ranking

Having outfoxed him on Syria, Russian President Vladimir Putin has pipped Barack Obama to the title of the world's most powerful leader as ranked by Forbes on Wednesday.

It was the first time in three years that the US president has dropped to second place on the magazine's list and came as US-Russia relations slid to a new low.

Putin, who has enjoyed 13 years of dominant rule over Russia, was again elected president in March 2012.

Obama, on the other hand, has just emerged scathed from an embarrassing 16-day US government shutdown caused by a budget and debt crisis in Washington.

"Putin has solidified his control over Russia, while Obama's lame duck period has seemingly set in earlier than usual for a two-term president -- latest example: the government shutdown mess," wrote Forbes.

Women and children have been getting raped, and blown apart in ALL of the wars this country has been involved in. The ones that were suppose to 'set them free'! I guess if ya throw a flag, God  bless America, pledge of allegiance at it......it's honorable.....

You must be posting about another Breitbart right???

Not the Breitbart who posted the "video evidence" of Shirley Sherrod's "racism" ???
That Breitbart?
Or the Breitbart who posted the bogus story about "Nationwide ACORN child prostitution investigation" ?
That Breitbart?
Or the Bertha Lewis' nonexistent White House visit?
That Breitbart?
Or the Breitbart release of "shocking" video of community organizers "praying" to Obama?
Is that the Breitbart you are quoting???
Or how about the Breitbart story concerning the  "Transvestites, Mao And Obama Ornaments
Decorate White House Christmas Tree."
You MUST be quoting from a 'different' Breitbart... Right???

Do you believe our atomic bombs we dropped on Japan saved lives in the long run? So if it worked for us why wouldn't it work for them, by the way I still don't believe Assad used them in the 1st place.

You only get your bogus news stories from reputable news outlets like NBC.  You know, Zimmerman's edited 9-11 call.

It saved "WHITE" lives.  And that's the reason it was dropped.

It probably saved both white and Asian lives... estimates were that a land invasion would last until 1947-48 and cost 1.5 million American lives and 6-7 million Japanese lives...

That was the rationale at the time but I've since heard otherwise.
Here is an opposing view:

Quoted Text
When General Dwight D. Eisenhower, then the Supreme Allied Commander, was informed
by the Secretary of War that the atomic bomb was going to be used, he later recalled saying
it was unnecessary because Japan was already largely defeated. Eisenhower said the bomb
was "no longer mandatory as a measure to save American lives." At one point after the war
he said bluntly, "It wasn't necessary to hit them with that awful thing."

Before the bomb was used, U.S. intelligence officials believed the war would likely end when
two things happened: When the U.S. let Japan know their Emperor could stay on as a figurehead,
and when the Soviet army attacked. The U.S. did tell Japan the Emperor could remain, and
the Soviets declared war, as agreed, on August 8.

But U.S. officials chose not to test whether this intelligence was correct. Instead, Hiroshima
was bombed on August 6, and Nagasaki on August 9. Because of logistics, an invasion of
Japan could not begin for another three months, so the U.S. could have waited to see if
Japan would surrender before dropping the atomic bombs.

Most top World War II military leaders are all on record agreeing with Eisenhower. Admiral
William Leahy, President Truman's Chief of Staff, later called the bomb a "barbarous weapon"
that was unnecessary. Leahy wrote, "The Japanese were already defeated and ready to
surrender. . . . In being the first to use it, we . . . adopted an ethical standard common to
the barbarians of the Dark Ages."

So was it justified in your opinion?

No just the opposite.  From what I've read, dropping the  bomb was unnecessary. The
decision was made easier for some because the ones doing the dying would not be white.
