Quoted from Henry
So you didn't answer anything you just found someone else to give their opinion, why do I bother

I don't know why you bother campaigning for "elderly workers" to work for a sub minimum
wage or even work for FREE!
It must be due to your Conservative Brain Washing.  (It's like Henry only posts through his
built in FoxSnooze antenna)

A minimum wage should be a minimum for the community... often a starting wage, not the
top rate.  That number would be different in different communities, of course.

I offered several instances of POSITIVE effects of the minimum wage, and one NEGATIVE
effect.

All you offered is to watch elderly people being exploited for the profit of a very profitable
corporation.

The Times They Are A Changin'
Quoted Text

Income inequality has been steadily growing all across the globe. Developed economies,
like the United States, suffer from some of the highest levels of income disparity in the
Western world. To combat this, Swiss citizens have gone on the offensive against the
ever growing gap between the corporate elites and low wage workers. The first action
taken against corporate abuse was back in March 2013 when Swiss citizens voted in
favor of the so-called “fat-cat initiative.” The fat-cat initiative aimed to reform CEO
pay packages, including making golden parachutes illegal in the country. The measure
was affirmed by 68 percent of the population.

I DO pay my fair share, (Cicero is so jealous!)  and, unlike you, I pay my taxes with a smile!
I collect my STAR exemption.  I make all legal deductions and exemptions, and have no worries
about a tax audit.
Fair share??? YUP!  I pay mine!

just because it's legal doesn't make it right
just because it's illegal doesn't make it wrong

it has NOTHING to do with being 'legal'...because remember it's someone telling YOU what is right/wrong/legal/illegal
as long as you are happy with your label as 'the little guy' who signed up as a human-drone.....

BRAVO!!! I'm glad you made that FREE CHOICE and no one compelled/forced you to do it.....you know, like a gang or
a guilt ridden church sermon could compel someone to do something either 'right' or 'wrong'

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Thank You TeaBaggers!!!

Quoted Text
USA Today:
"Top campaign aides to Virginia Gov.-elect Terry McAuliffe and his GOP opponent,
Ken Cuccinelli, agreed Wednesday about the just-concluded bitter campaign:
that the federal government shutdown was a critical factor in Cuccinelli's defeat.

See!  TeaBaggers are not totally useless... they can always serve as a bad example!

The US Congress Sucks!

A new Gallup poll finds Americans' approval of the way Congress is handling its job has
dropped to 9%, the lowest in the 39-year history of asking the question.
The previous low point was 10%, registered twice in 2012.

Congressional approval for the first 11 months of 2013 is 14%, on track to be the lowest
yearly average in Gallup history, one percentage point below last year's 15% average.

Possibly the Future Of The Republican Party:

Quoted Text
"George Prescott Bush, the grandson and nephew of U.S. presidents, filed to run for Texas
land commissioner on Tuesday -- a move that officially begins the continuation of his family's
political dynasty with a young, Hispanic, Spanish-speaking candidate."

Boner signs up for ObamaCare!

House Speaker John Boehner tried to sign up for Obamacare on Thursday afternoon,
but due to a few technical glitches he was unable to do so.

Boehner attempted to enroll in a health plan under the D.C. exchange,
but got an “internal server error” multiple times.

"Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to get past that point and sign up for a health
plan," he wrote. "We’ve got a call into the help desk.  Guess I’ll just have to keep trying…"

Update: Boehner successfully enrolled in a health exchange after a phone call
with DC Health Link.

"Kept at it, and called the DC Health Link help line," he said in an update.
"They called back a few hours later, and after re-starting the process on the website
two more times, I just heard from DC Health Link that I have been successfully enrolled."

So easy even a caveman can do it!

so easy, a caveman is smart enough to know the difference between healthcare, health insurance and medical intervention

a caveman would be very responsible for his/her healthCARE......

a caveman had no need for health insurance because there were no banks/leverage/dividends/interest/taxes/contracts etc.....

a caveman used medical intervention ONLY when there was an accident-injury that occurred AFTER taking all responsible health
care measures for survival......

we're so civilized we allow other folks to prioritize and make all those choices for us....

we've come a long way baby....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
