Yea how would local state laws govern minorities???
Jim Crow Laws that exclude blacks from health insurance plans... (They could have their OWN
plans, sorta separate but equal, remember?)

Look at many of the states that today are refusing to participate in ObamaCare... who suffers
the poor and minorities... just like always.

the feds don't SAVE anyone.....

THEY MAKE A DIFFERENT MACHINE TO LOOK LIKE IT.....then continue on with the status quo......

Tammany Hall - a political organization within the Democratic Party in New York City (late 1800's and early 1900's) seeking political control by corruption and bossism.

SHOW ME THE $$ TRAIL FOR THE MEDICAL INSURANCE AND THE VALUE PLACED

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Cicero's Happy Thanksgiving Wishes To America... "I GOT MINE, SCREW YOU!"

People like Cicero some how see their benefit of having affordable health care as somehow being
diminished if every other American also has affordable health care insurance.
It's like they can't enjoy their benefit, unless some one else is doing with out.

You went 60+ years and been through a war without being mandated to buy health insurance, and it sounds as if you did just fine.  Now you want to steal money from you kids and grandkids to pay for you generations health care.

No box...YOU GOT YOURS, AND YOU WANT MORE.

You Act Exactly Like A 14 Year Old Boy!

Quoted Text
"When 14 year old boys sound exactly like you do, and can produce radio shows
and books and speeches that sound exactly like yours.
Maybe you should rethink the $hit that's coming out of your mouth!"

70 years of perpetual war $17 trillion in national debt, a growing permanent underclass on some form of welfare, and a global eavesdropping apparatus was due to 3 years of Republicans having a majority in one house of congress....Oh yeah...and global warming...

I'd love to join you in your fairy tale box...I just can't suspend reality like you.

Obama Gives GW Bush a Lift

Quoted Text
"There's no telling what might happen now that Barack Obama and George W. Bush
find themselves taking a long Air Force One flight from Washington to Johannesburg to attend
the funeral of Nelson Mandela. But history suggests something will," Time reports.

"When Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower shared a limo back from Arlington cemetery in
November 1963, following the burial of John F. Kennedy, the two men, bitter enemies for
more than a decade, finally found a way to set their animosity aside... The two men got to
talking and all the years of difficulty and pain melted away as the hours ticked by and the
cocktails were refilled."

"Defenses came crashing down again in 1981, when Ronald Reagan sent Richard Nixon, Jerry
Ford and Jimmy Carter to Cairo to attend the funeral of Anwar Sadat...The ride over on the
old Boeing 707 was long, crowded and awkward. But on the way home, Nixon peeled away
on a different trip and Carter and Ford dropped a half decade of resentment and realized they
had more in common than either imagined. They both hated raising money, they both dreaded
25 years of unexpected retirement; they both disliked Reagan. It was the beginning of a
beautiful relationship: over the next 25 years, Ford and Carter joined forces on two dozen
projects."

"Compassionate Conservatives" An Oxymoron

Quoted Text
House Republicans display their brand of compassion...
The food stamp provision that expired on November 1st affected over 47 million hungry Americans,
most of them working families, children, and the elderly, and Republicans touting newfound compassion
are panting to slash them by at least another $39 billion. Mr. “compassionate conservative” Paul Ryan
called for $133 billion in cuts in the full version of Path to Prosperity that virtually eliminates food
assistance for tens-of-millions of seriously hungry Americans.
