You support your "country" no matter what and carry the regime water that this is a normal occurrence that no one should be upset by. You even use the propaganda technique of implying that it did noit happen because it is not on the government-controlled media! You do it in the above post!

You are such a brainwashed little Hitler! Holy Schit! You have no idea that you do exactly what they want you to do every time you spew! So much for being a "liberal."  You are a NAZI. Face it.

WOW!  I'm impressed!  Graham (with his college degree) managed to actually compose something
all by himself and with a minimum of spelling errors!

Graham seems unable to actually see the facts.  When he reads my posts, he sees what he wants to
see, not what is there.

Graham has no actual facts to back up his rants, so he relies on his standard practice (probably learned
in his college years) of replacing actual ideas with name calling. (Brainwashed little Hitler! NAZI)

Lets look at Graham's post:
"You support "your country" no matter what"
Of course I often disagree with "my country", but Graham can't admit that or his entire premise is gone.

For the record:
I worried about 'mission creep' but I cautiously supported going into Afghanistan to capture Bin Laden
and to destroy Al Qaeda.

I was totally against everything connected with GWB's Oil War In Iraq.

I supported Obama's presidency, but Obama is far from perfect.
I disagree with some of Obamacare, with Obama not closing GITMO, with Obama
promoting Fracking.

As far as your post... I have always been strongly against POLICE BRUTALITY.  IMO, most cops are
good people and try to do a good job in often difficult circumstances.
What about your story (the killing of a down syndrome kid) do you assume that I support???  I don't
know the details of this killing but I support an investigation and charges being brought against the
police if they acted improperly.  What would make you think that I would support cops killing a
defenseless kid???  And what would make you think that I would support killer cops???

You immediately vilified the story by attacking the messenger because your failed government-controlled media is in the bag for the ruling/police class and will not report the story. That tells a whole lot. You are a disciple of Goebbels.

I guess Graham had no actual response...
just his usual name calling:
"failed government-controlled media", "disciple of Goebbels"

Oh... and the "failed government-controlled media"... Reported your story on August 23rd, three days
before your link.

FBI interrogated man after comment about American “Police State” on Facebook
Man's fears are confirmed when the FBI wanted to interrogate him within hours of making an impassioned comment

Blaine Cooper (Source: Facebook)

HUMBOLDT, AZ — A man says that within hours of making an impassioned post on Facebook, he was being interrogated by police and the FBI.

Blaine Cooper, 33, contacted policestateusa.com with a concerning story about how his sentiments posted on Facebook had drawn the attention of the federal government.  He showed me the comment and told me that within 24-hours of posting it, he was being contacted by the police and FBI.

His colorful comment was in reference to what he believes is an “American Police State,” in which the power of the federal government is growing in a direction which may one day lead people to fight back.

Cooper, who is training to be a wild land fire fighter, said that on August 23, he was contacted by Officer Jason Kuafman of the Prescott Valley Police Department and was told that he needed to come to the police station for an interview with the FBI.

He complied with the request for an interview, which lasted 45 minutes with federal agents present.  He was released after apparently being determined to not be a threat.

“They had every Facebook post I had ever made in a huge file, along with all my wife’s information, and parent’s information,” Cooper told policestateusa.com.

Cooper said that he was told that without “defusing the situation” by complying with the interview, his house might have been raided.

“The FBI made mention they came to question me so they didn’t have to kick in my door,” Cooper told policestateusa.com.
Cooper's facebook comment which got him Federal attention within hours.

Cooper’s Facebook comment which got him Federal attention within hours.

It should be pointed out that answering questions from federal agents is an extremely risky idea, especially without the presence of a lawyer.  Supreme Court case BROGAN v. UNITED STATES affirmed that it is a federal crime to tell any lie, or misrepresent any fact, to a federal agent.  Even an innocent person with good intentions could commit a federal crime by misspeaking during an interview.

But apparently the alternative to complying to an interview is getting raided by the FBI.

Still feeling threatened, Cooper made a YouTube video on Aug. 23, as a record to the public in case he “disappears.”

“[I] hope this doesn’t happen to anybody else,” he said.

The rapid response of the FBI could be a result of the federal government’s XKeyscore program, which gives them the ability to collect “nearly everything a user does on the internet.”

The irony of the situation is that Cooper’s concerns of the USA becoming a police state were actually validated by the fact that the federal government launched an investigation over his frustrated Facebook comment, showing up with detailed records on his family and their internet activity.

Cooper has been very open to questions and has provided his own number, as well as the police contacts that were made.

Yes.  I agree.  This story should have been investigated better from the start.
The Police did investigate the situation, but the police are not unbiased third parties to the outcome.

Many cities have "civilian review boards" who look into any and ALL killings by their police.
The board is often made up of a wide spectrum of the community:  retired police, teachers,
community organizers, civic groups, business groups and religious from the community.

A Georgia family claims they called 911 in order to get medical help for a member of the family suffering an adverse reaction to diabetes medication.

But instead of an ambulance, the dispatcher sent two police officers, who proceeded to shoot and kill the 43-year-old Jack Lamar Roberson in front of his mother and fiance.

“They just came in and shot him,” said Roberson’s fiance, Alicia Herron, in a statement to First Coast news. “He didn’t say nothing, the police didn’t say nothing, anything, it was like a silent movie. You couldn’t hear anything, all you could hear were the gun shots go off and I seen them going into his body and he just fell down.”

The Waycross Police Department released a statement claiming that Roberson was armed with two weapons when the officers entered the home. He lunged at the officers, according to police, causing them to shoot him in self-defense. The department has not revealed what kind of weapons Roberson had in his possession.

But both Herron and Roberson’s mother said the department’s story is a lie.

“We don’t own two decent knives,” said Diane Roberson, the mother.

In a statement to The Florida Times-Union, she elaborated.

“We had no weapons in this house whatsoever,’’ she said. “My gentle lamb … He kissed me every morning, made me breakfast in bed, and they said he had two weapons.”

How did I end up in this thread???

I guess Cicero is desperate for some attention so he included me.

Obviously either the police or the family is lying.  I hope that this case gets handled better than the
Zimmerman murder case and I hope that justice prevails.

Here's another version, has some differing information:

Ga. Man Shot by Police Had Said 'He Wants to Die'
SAVANNAH, Ga. October 9, 2013 (AP)

By RUSS BYNUM Associated Press
Associated Press

Before Jack Lamar Roberson was shot dead by police inside his own home, the south Georgia man's fiancee called 911 and said he had swallowed pills and liquor, overturned a refrigerator and told his family "he wants to die," according to a recording released by police Wednesday.

Roberson's family insists he was unarmed when two officers gunned him down last Friday inside the front door of the Waycross home the 45-year-old man shared with his mother, fiancee and young daughter. Police say Roberson threatened the officers with a large meat fork and what appeared to be a knife.

The case has been turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which is customary for shootings involving police.

"He didn't have nothing in his hands. I'm hearing he did, but I saw it," his mother, Diann Roberson, said in a phone interview Wednesday. "I know what I saw and my son went down with his hands in the air."

In the 911 call, Roberson's fiancee, Alicia Herron, asked for an ambulance, saying she was worried because he had swallowed "a couple of big handfuls" of pills he took for diabetes. He had also been drinking.

"I don't know what will happen," she said.

Herron remained calm throughout the nearly 3-minute call, including when the operator asked her if Roberson was being combative.

"Yeah. He threw the refrigerator down and threw glass everywhere and stuff," Herron said. "He broke his TV and everything."

Herron said Roberson hadn't physically threatened anyone in the house. The operator asked if he had said anything to indicate he might be suicidal.

"He says he wants to die," Herron told the operator. "But I don't know."

Before the call ended, she said: "Just the ambulance is coming, right? No police, right?" The operator said police and paramedics would be notified.

Two Waycross officers came to Roberson's home and at some point he was shot to death.

Lt. Christopher Poole, who came after the shooting, reported hearing radio traffic about officers responding to a suicide attempt, followed several minutes later by an officer's frantic distress call about someone being shot.

In his incident report, Poole said he found Roberson lying face-down in a pool of blood near the front door. There was a meat fork near his head, and the handle of another kitchen utensil poking out from beneath his shoes.

Poole wrote than one of the officers told him "Roberson was holding what appeared to be a large grilling fork in one hand and a knife in his other hand in a threatening manner." The officer told Poole that Roberson lunged toward them and "they fired their weapons to protect themselves."

Waycross Police Chief Tony Tanner said in a statement Monday that both officers "yelled repeatedly for Mr. Roberson to stop and drop the weapons," but he continued to come toward them. Roberson's mother insisted she heard no warning before the police opened fire.

GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment. The two officers involved in the shooting, identified in the police report as Lt. Scott Rowell and officer Casey Caswell, have been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.

Roberson's mother said the family moved to Waycross, located on the edge of the Okefenokee Swamp near the Georgia-Florida state line, about a year ago from Michigan. She said her son was a disabled veteran who served in the Navy during the first Gulf War.

"My heart is breaking," Diann Roberson said. "I had a good boy, a good man."

Just seein if you were outraged there was no immediate arrest. There is a dead person shot by armed men, there MUST be an immediate arrest.

This is the first that I've read about it.  Joe's post is quite different than yours.
