I disagree.  If Bumbler wanted to say "GOVERNMENT APPROVED DRUGS" he would have used that
term.  The GOVT doesn't make the drugs, and the FDA approves ALL Legal Drugs, so the term
"GOVERNMENT ISSUED", as compared to Private Issued, would connect the drugs to people who
are "ISSUED" these drugs by the "GOVERNMENT.

Bumbler has used this term before... and his meaning then was people on Welfare or some kind
of Public Assistance... WHERE THEIR DRUGS WERE "GOVERNMENT ISSUED".

BTW... does Bumbler know that you are his spokesman???  Did he "APPROVE" that authorization???

Hey, you interpret it one way, I interpret it another.  I never thought it had anything to do with public assisatance.  We all know that without FDA apporval, these drugs cannot be legally prescribed by government regulated doctors.  Pharmacies cannot carry crack cocaine and a doctor cannot prescribe crack cocaine without FDA approval.

We DO know that soldiers are prescribed these drugs and sent back into combat.  So in those cases, they are GOVERNMENT ISSUED.  And we know that former SEAL Chris Kyle was shot by by a former marine dealing with PTSD and most likely on the GOVERNMENT ISSUED, FDA approved drugs.

Is this Cicero posting for Cicero, or is this Cicero posting for Bumbler???

senders, alcohol is the all-time #1 anti-anxiety drug. That's why when we used to have 'winos' and 'bums' downtown, you would see them at parades saluting the flag when the younger populace had forgotten. They were veterans of WWII with classic PTSD, in many if not most cases.

I believe the reason that women are treated more often for all kinds of stress-type disorders, such as agoraphobia, is that a man, whether or not he hasbeen in the military, will deal with anxiety and panic by hitting the bottle instead of seeking medical help.
Of course now, under Obamacare, if someone coming back from Iraq or Afghanistan admits to any stress and seeks treatment, they can be destroying their chances at employment in law-enforcement related areas.

Government issued drugs, I think you could fairly use that term for the drugs that school children receive under recommendation of the teachers in the schools. I know parents who have drugs pushed on them for their kids. I'm not against medication for kids, not at all. I'm just against the blatant overprescribing to benefit some drug company's bottom line. Why are kids in foster care all of a sudden all in need of serious heavy duty psychiatric medicine?

BTW, I notice that we are having a 'change of heart' regarding that surcharge for smoking under Obamacare. Guess who the dimwits who put this thing together didn't realize would be most harmed by that added expense? The working poor black people! So now, surcharges are out! Only, they sold this thing to the gullible masses under the premise that if a guy could buy insurance but didn't, and then got sick, "everybody" had to pay for him. But now, people who must buy insurance and don't get sick, have to pay for those who surely will get sick, and for the sick that never would have had to pay for insurance. How is that not "everybody" paying? Except there is a cut going to a business that doesn't provide care. Duh!
It also could be that states didn't want to give up their revenues from tobacco to insurance companies.

they are government issued drugs...because until such time as the 'elite experts' can find a way to $$ marijuana, it will be
illegal in certain weights/forms.....

we expected a generation (80's) to 'say no to drugs' then proceeded to advertise the government/corporate approved
poisons that 'help' us.......

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Attorney: Use Anti-Anxiety Meds, Lose Pistol Permit

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) If you use anti-anxiety medication, should you forfeit your pistol permit? One attorney says that's exactly what's happened in two cases here.

"We are representing a client right now who is impacted by this onerous activity of the government," says Jim Tresmond of the Tresmond Law Firm. He's unaware of how many else may be affected because the matter is so new, with operatives across the country monitoring the state.

Tresmond is representing two clients now, but anticipates more down the road. "We were flummoxed by this whole matter," explains Tresmond. "The HIPPA act is supposed to prevent this kind of thing from happening. It's a gross invasion of our privacy rights." Who's responsible for this? "The State Police. Based on information the county received from the New York State Police, they've suspended the permits. The State Police instigates the proceedings."
Tresmond says the State Police commissioner is named in the two lawsuits.

IF YOU HOLD ANY HOPE OF OVERTURNING THE NEW LAW, THEN YOU HAD BETTER START FOCUSING ON THE REALITES OF IT, AND NOT YOUR FANTASIES.

I Googled that "article", and it is only being featured on a handful of "news" sites, non of them even remotely credible.
I'm not talking Breitbart or Free Republic here either. I'm talking sites that nobody has ever heard of, trying to stir up some sh*
t, just to get some clicks and make a name for themselves.

That particular provision of the law, is redundant to long existing laws.
It authorizes health care professionals to contact the authorities if they think a person is a threat to themselves, or others.
They have been REQUIRED to report dangerous persons, for decades now.

It DOES NOT REQUIRE THEM TO REPORT EVERY PERSON THAT IS ON PSYCH MEDS,
That would be a clear violation of the current HIPPA laws.

Stop chasing your tails with this nonsense.

Shadow: Every one of those links just lead to the same statement given to WBEN, by the same attorney.
Not a single link corroborates the story, or gives any background on the confiscation.

Once again, another person of questionable character and intent, hell bent on making a name for himselve, because there's an army of drooling idiots just waiting at the trough for more crap to be outraged about.

Malady Burns on Talk 1300 spent an hour blathering on about this, until her invited telephone guest, a Psychiatrist, totally debunked the story, dismissing it as falsehoodto try and ruffle feathers.

YOU'VE BEEN TROLLED!

So in other words, if a SECOND news outlet does not carry it (they censor it out instead) it MUST NOT BE TRUE!

Prove it is not true, Tommygun. You saw the report on WBEN, now prove it is not true.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Try going to the lawyers site in Buffalo who is handling the lawsuit, there has only been 2 cases so far but it may be just the beginning and the story has been verified by the Blaze and there are pages of other websites carrying the story. Google Jim Tresmond he has handled 2nd amendment cases before.

Fact is, NO other news outlet (not even conservative, Tea Party, or Freeper outlets) carried it, because it has been thoroughly debunked, and unlike yourself, they don't want to look like fools.

You would have to be partially retarded to think that Doctors are going to report 2 million people to the cops, and even loonier to think the police have that kind of manpower available to enforce it.

I guarantee you, there have been plenty of cases throughout the years, where gun owners thought to be of unsound mind, have had their permits taken away, and hired a lawyer to challenge the decision.
That law has been in effect for decades.
He's just trying to capitalize on the current controversy to make a name for himself.
