There is no such thing as "contract terms" regarding the position of Town Clerk.  It is an ELECTED position and as such is governed by state law and not a contract.

If nothing else.....the rotterdam town board could and should put in place a provision that will not allow the tc to collect a full salary for an extended, agreed upon time......such as EE did. That was a travesty to say the least. these laws need to be changed to protect the taxpayers!!

very informative......but still need legal advice as to what is needed by a few residents....

TC has power over everything....and that is scary......nothing is private anymore when it is available to that person...
