Yes, I heard her father whose name was Shilling or Shiller or something once employed Del Gallo about 40 years ago. Nonetheless she is not a politician and never ran for office but is in a capacity of customer service at her private sector job in aviation at the Albany Airport. She is not a government hack and she is a fair and honest, forthright person of high repute. She pledges not to operate the office in a political manner, and that is good enough for me.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

So because she works in the private sector she is a good
candidate?  Lynn Fiorillo worked in the banking industry for
close to 30 years and she was tossed aside like an old
shoe.  That my friend is disgusting behavior, just like a
current town clerk candidate threatened to make it her
mission to stomp on JD if he ran against her.  The behavior
of these two parties is worst than DFOS (democratic full of
$hit) making claims on this blog that he perceives
as facts but has nothing to back it up.

Folks in rotterdam have heard the same thing. I thought it was perhaps just a rumor. I heard she and her party went after jd's 90 year old father....rumor?

I know from the horse's mouth Lynn withdrew from consideration, and yes it is true that JD was threatened (even letters to his elderly father) so what else do you need to know? The party picked a candidate in a short time window, backed right up tp a deadline, and not everyone will be happy. Lynn recently quit the GOP and joined the Copservative party, assuming JD was the candidate. I think she should have waited before she jumped ship, but Gerard, FS, Holly Vellano, Angelo Satanbabera and a whole host of other politicians have made the transition from big fish in a small pond to little fish in a big pond. How is that anyone's fault but their own?

Why don't you meet her and judge for yourself if you like her before throwing your support to Diane Marco?

JD should know better than anyone that Rotterdam voters don't care about his past...you're talking about an electorate that votes
for dead people and candidates who drop out of election races. Do the names Kirvin and Gordon ring any bells??

The truth is that the offer was extended to Lynn only after JD dropped out. When EE's resignation was eminent, she was made to
stand in line behind JD, who wouldn't run against EE. Who could blame her for leaving? At least she didn't suck up to the Kratz like
those you mentioned.

BTW, Lynn left the GOP and joined Conservative Party because she is, in fact, a conservative who was stiffed by her former Party...this
Cammarto was already a member of the "Copservative" Party...courtesy of FDG.

Funny how when it's convenient, the GOP will endorse a Conservative...when they have no one else, just like the Kratz...but when a
Conservative seeks a GOP endorsement, the GOP either demands that they switch to Republican and deny support when they refuse,
or they run a candidate who can't win because they are a Republican.

First....JD should have stayed in for the long haul. He had more support than DM and DM knew that. That is why she sent out the goon squad to harass JD's 90 year old father. Very sad!

Second....many folks respected LF at one point. That is not the case today. She picked up her toys and followed GP to the land of OZ. She allowed herself to become part of a problem that wasn't 'hers' to begin with.

And lets rephrase this shall we....Funny how when it's convenient, the conservatives will endorse a republican. The cons have NOcredibility whatsoever. So let's not pretend that they do...k?

LF, who was once looked upon as a homegrown, 'clean' candidate has now just become a party jumper like the rest with baggage! She will just become the one part of the con party that is trying to take over the OTHER part of the party. Congratulations to LF.....she has now been enrolled in the 'politics as usual in rotterdam'. SUCCESS!

Lynn hasn't followed anyone anywhere...she has followed her own path on her own terms....and she certainly isn't the "problem" or
any part of it. If anything she will be part of the solution....rather than standing on the sidelines making naive assessments.

If the conservative members of the CP...and yes, there is a huge difference...have no credibility then the Republican candidates never
should have forced a Primary for the ballot line.

"Rephrasing" the facts won't change them. With all due respect BT, you have always prided yourself as an 'unaffiliated' voter...scorning
political Parties...but you switched to Republican for ONE vote in a single Presidential Republican Primary....while you have no valid
reason to assume that Lynn's motivation is "politics as usual". If anything she has solidified respect in standing by her positions.

I do agree that JD was a jellyfish in letting DM scare him off...but he should have expected it...DM told me herself quite a while ago
that she had every intention of doing this to JD...and it is quite unfortunate that she would resort to such tactics. She should be telling
people why they should vote for her...not why they shouldn't vote for someone else.

First.....to primary for a 'line' is 'the system'. No different then when a con primaries for the dem or wp lines. They want not only the 'line' but hoping to pull a % of those registered in that party. Unfortunately it is a #'s game not one of values and ideology. If that were the case....no one would be 'flipping'.

Second.....LF did in fact pick up her toys and follow GP and crew. She almost pulled it off in the last election and if she had 'stayed put' she would have had a great chance of winning this one. A personal move, perhaps.....but not a well thought out one.

Third.....DM is clearly the poster child of why rotterdam politics is the laughing stock. Her latest stunt, under the guidance of TJ hooker, on their attack on JD is even more proof. FDG's slate is f-a-r better in comparison. I will encourage any dem to vote the fdg slate.

And as far as town clerk......it's a no brainer........VOTE REP!!
