How far would you go if your 90 year old father were getting threatening letters......all in the name of politics?

Back when rotterdamians were trying to fight off a walmart super center, those opposing it actually had phone lines cut and were told...'you better leave town'. TRUTH!! Same players then.....same players today in rotterdam.

there are just toooo many 'vowels' in rotterdam.

BT...was there a criminal investigation of any of this.  I would think if there were letters and such that Police could/would investigate.  I still would have run and campaigned hard and then crushed the opposition in any legal way available to me....they would have been the ones concerned.  And by the way, my name ends in a vowel and I'm extremely proud of it....there are an awful lot of bad apples in Rotterdam that don't have vowels in their names!!!!!

JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!!
JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!

The allegations that any threats were made is a bunch of bull crap.

Really Ronnie, were you there, when this was told to me?  I don't recall smelling you.

DM is not the right choice...who said she was "one of the nicest persons"...DM must have written it....believes she's qualified for anything....Vote REP////...who will it be?????????...The "fight that CM is planning on is unethical....a true politician and ethical would not be voicing what her campaign is "running on"...sounds like a job shoulc be created....pooper scooper.....what goes  around...comes around...and it doesn't have to be done intentionally..prayer gets it done....LOL....

What are her qualifications....heard on the street.....it was her lone insensitive decision  that discontinued community service for our Rotterdam teens....they have to go to SCHDY..our teens in Rotterdam need to experience work for no pay...when your pockets are empty makes one think about the right choice...it also gives our teens at just what community service is....may lead to public service at some point...let's not forget our teens...it takes a "village" to raise a child......

So then you are saying John DiGeorgio is a liar? Because he told me that threats were sent to his wife, family and his elderly father. We all think it is YOU who is the gigantic LIAR.

Not to mention a fraud who has to use various aliases to spout lies. Write in who you want. It only helps DM who is the chosen machine candidate.

It is not the role of government to offer 'teen programs'. That is the job of their parents and perhaps even their schools. It's time to cut some of these government programs that take on the responsibility of mommy and daddy. And that's not being insensitive....it is being practical and placing responsibility where it belongs.

but let us be reminded that his is just a 'clerk's ' position. It is NOT a position that votes or passes legislation. It's just an over paid ($50K/yr) clerk job. I'm mean let's get a grip here.

Bumble.....I understand what you mean.....but it doesn't cost the Town anything....taxes are paid....fines are paid....what does it hurt to have programs for teens....we forget that someday they will be our leaders (some heaven forbid) but by helping them thru a wrong choice ....what's wrong with that....seems like "FRAIL SENIORS" and "ROTTERDAM TEENS" are a forgotten group of citizens .....let us be more pro-active and less about the "law" of who does what ....JD invited these teens into the Center for their Community service....I understand they were respectful and very helpful and went on to better their lives...right now there is no place in Rotterdam for teens to go and learn to be resourceful.....yes, parents are responsible....but, they need more community involvement to meet and connect with our government, besides the Court.....

Also.....if HB gets the seat.....how will he rule????....former .officer of the law.... Calder and Tony included in this
pack.....Wow.....how excitng will that be....

And DM...NO....put on leave of the Center for 6 months 2010      ....reappointed 2011.....then terminated...
.it will become a political arena....and in the end will become a "burden" to the Town.  not having a vote will not mean a thing.....party monger.... personal agenda....and unrespectable "ethics" for what may need  change.

50K   a little too over the top....as well as other overpaid Town employees.....

I disagree righton...........Rotterdam's schools offer after schools sports, drama clubs, music/choir/band/orchestra, there is rotterdam pop warner, there is rotterdam cheerleaders, there is rotterdam hockey, there is rotterdam soccer, there is the rotterdam boys and girls club, there are a gazilion parks........not to mention after school part time jobs....and let us not forget helping their parents out by mowing their lawns, laundry...helping out around the house in general.

.seems like "FRAIL SENIORS" and "ROTTERDAM TEENS" are a forgotten group of citizens

Rotterdam seniors have already become fodder for politicians. Let's leave the teens out of the political fray shall we?

Speaking of frail seniors-what happened at the senoir gossip center? Why did the DEMS working together dump DM? If all her opponents unite and organize Andrea Commarto can win.

OK.....r u running for office..???.knowledge is power.....yes agreed.....lots of things for teens.....but they are a
generation like no other...my thoughts are that many of the teens are not active in sports, etc., and some who
still get into a jam.........and I will end it with that..,...I am sensitive senior (  who has observed this
generation)...... when it comes to our youth....the best interest for them...

You don't have to 'run for office' to have knowledge.

There has never been a generation like the one that came before it.

For those who 'get into a jam'.............that is the parent's responsibility.

And teens have gotten in 'jams' since the beginning of time.

Again.......seniors have already become a political ping pong ball for politicians.....don't victimize the teens too....k?
