A new police station? A new park? A new "multi-generational" rec center? The town DEMS are all out of their minds. Then at the County level the DEMS are shoving a new County home down our throats. Not a peep out of TJ Hooker nor ANG. Good luck giving away your property.

The county Dems are soooo out of touch or the economic reality of not only Schenectady County but the nation.  Spend - spend - spend...That's all they know.  They can't help themselves.

The new police station/town justice court is a high priority -- the old building is falling down.

The new passive use park is moving from the conceptual stage to finding the funding stage --- and will only be developed if the private, state and federal funding falls in place .. and development will be incremental  -- most likely over the next  9 years.

The multi-generational  COMMUNITY center is still only in the earliest part of the conceptual stage.  A specific proposal is probably 2 to 3 years off  (and that is being optimistic).

The naysayers have begun a negative campaign of LIES and MISINFORMATION  because they Mertz, Surhada and the other retread GOPers  .. are  among other things --- jealous that they could not a LONG RANGE   town parks and recreation plan together.  The funny thing is that the GOP favored the park in the Junction inthe last administration -- and I have always given them credit for the "conceptual idea" that we have built on.    So -- Mertz, Surhada and the other GOP whiners  -- I challenge you to stop being petty partisan hacks and actually participate in a constructive discussion.   I never saw your sorry asses at any of the 7 public input sessions held in 2010.    Merts, Surhada, Rheinsmith, Tomaselli ..and the other GOP whiners will attack anything and everything that comes along ... but they won't get off their asses and participate in a non-partisan discussion/sharing of ideas.   That is why you folks lost in the past and have no credible chance of winning in the future.

Folks -- the key word is LONG RANGE -- the plan says this is what we as residents would like to see - hopefully - in 10 years.    The town parks and recreation plan VERY CLEARLY states that the items in the plan wouldonly be implemented  AS FUNDS BECOME AVAILABLE and in an INCREMENTAL fashion  and that the plan is FLEXIBLE depending on the economic and other circumstances.

The plan is very responsible and is NOT shoving anything down anybodies throat.   IT IS A ROAD MAP .. to start moving in a direction to improving our town's parks and recreation system.   It is better to have a road map  than to do things piece meal - as the town has done for years --- or in "fits and starts" as it has also done.     It lays out a set of goals that the town will implement in MANAGEABLE SEGMENTS.

...tax tax tax. That is why democraps get the boot not long after they get in. I love it when they, being so out of touch with the economically struggling, decide that dropping tens of millions on new digs and new patronage jobs for relatives is a good idea. Then they lose elections, which they are prone to do when they talk dumb. Phrases like "roadmap" are part of the newspeak of the intelligensia, most of whom never created one job in their life. People who never did anything but be in politics.

See above.

Can the DEM Friends and family club at least live in this County? How many DEM morons do we have to support from East Greenbush? There's no way these DEM idiots will maintain a 5-0 majority. Self serving is one thing but this is ridiculous.

Ron, sorry to say, but you need to go and check another website for your talking points.  AH and JS are more like some of your friends on the left, like all of our current District 4 County Legislators, well maybe except for Holly Vellano, who apparently is just along for the ride with the Dems and not speaking out about anything.

I must say, though, with checking the county website that Holly and TJ are the leaders of the veterans committee and I appreciate the recent legislation they have put forward for those who have served this great federation.

I don't need or use"talking points",     I consider it an honor and a privilege that I can consider ALL of the current District 4 legislators as friends -- and they are among the HIGHEST CALIBER of public servants anywhere --
they actually care about our community and DO positive constructive things to improve the community.

You and your friends -- whine and moan .. and engage in character assassination ... and constantly TRASH TALK our community ---    when is the last time that  you Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity volunteered your time to help the community --- i haven't seen any of you folks out there DOING something positive.

Yet you folks love to attack the character of fine individuals who have more community spirit and more integrity in their little toe --- then you, Kelly Rheinsmith, Joe Surhada,  Gerard Parisi, John Mertz and the rest of you thugs and terrorists ...  YES >. you are terrorists ... trying to destroy our community...

there is no way to have an intelligent conversation with you terrorist -- so here is my final message to you all -----  kiss my a** and go to hell.

Add new Town Hall to the DEM wish list. If you think last years tax hike was high just wait.

See, when you control the police and they have become a political tool of the democrap party, it is easy to call anyone like the republicans "terrorists" and try to stifle their speech and make them afraid to stand up to the thugs in black. Try again, and again, and again. The time to pay the piper is nearing.

The defenses are becoming more and more shrill. It's hard to defend the DEM out of County lob hiring, REMS debacle, lies about tax cutting and general incompetence. Everyone can see the handwriting on the wall. Changing Supervisor candidates will not change the outcome.

Yes Ron...Tony Jasenski is the epitome of integrity with his tax scams and political threats. Judy Dagostino has never done anything
that didn't benefit herself and/or her family...how generous of her to arrange for taxpayer reimbursement to Larned for a Walmart
deal that never happened after she already cashed in big time on that same property that didn't belong to her in the first place.

These ridiculous rants of yours are nauseating enough posted once...twice is not only unbearable, but it sounds more like you are
trying to convince yourself of your own delusions more than anyone else. Is that why you post the exact same comments twice in a
row or more on a regular basis?
