Some are dithering, trying to stall. It is not going to work, and only makes things look worse for the leadership. Brian McGarry will be the nominee of the committee. There is a great number of republicans on the committee taking up his cause and I speak with them each day. Any attempt to play games will end in embarrassment so I don't expect any games to be played. It might be time to dust off my spurs, but I am being hopeful just a little while longer that commons sense will prevail.

Rotterdamians are NOT going to vote for another dem after this town boards bunch of clowns. They are NOT going to vote for anyone who is sitting on the board now! Rotterdamians are leaning toward the independents (countywide). Now is the time for the reps to show that they are in tune with the electorate.........'if' they are.

I hope Brian is the Rep candidate too. He will make a great town supervisor. Don't sell him short. Buffardi has a proven record of being electable, but that was as a Sheriff. Town Supervisors aren't Sheriffs. Brian has what it takes and I believe he has more support than the Dems realize.

Most rotterdamians agree. BM has more support than some think. And with the pathetic shape of the city and rotterdam and the county as a whole, under the control of the dem-o-cops.....the electorate will be hard pressed to vote for another dem/con.
