Brad-
Thank you for the post.  I will contact you so that we can speak about issues.  You sound like a candidate who wants to win.  Thank you for taking the time to address me.  If you're not a gun owner and you can reasonablely explain why the heck you would add Mertz to your ticket and why the new line you may have a vote.  RE: Mertz---"Lucy you got some splaining to do!"  And if  you didn't get that joke, you're too young to run.  Will email you.

Cal,

Thank you for your interest in discussing the issues with me.  I do indeed want to win and to serve.

I am not sure that I can satisfy the prerequisite conditions for obtaining your vote.  I do, indeed, own firearms.  I am
a defender of the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and am a member of the NRA.

I discussed my affiliation with John in my previous post.  I respect John and share his fiscally
conservative principles.

Regrettably, I did get the Lucy reference.  I wish that I was too young to not understand it.

I appreciate your thoughtful and respectful reply to my post.  I still welcome your email and the opportunity to
speak with you regarding my "platform".  A civil dialogue can help us to better understand one other's perspectives and may lead
us to discover that we share common positions on some issues.

"A very old communion" good one Graham. And not the only one? The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Let's support "leaders' who re-elect themselves in a bunker? What's a proxy? Only in Schenectady County.

hahahaaaaa. But if they don't outlaw guns, how will they force us to do whatever they want us to?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Sal is spot on.  If Schenectady would pay attention to Albany County's Gun Task Force they would know that the guns are being purchased in Virginia.  You can buy as many as you want and then brought here.  They land in the hands of kids.  In the neighborhoods kids only need one gun and it becomes a community gun and placed in accessible spot for anyone to use and then return.  Schenectady Police and DA should begin a task force based on Albany's and at least meet with those folks to glean the amount of information they have come up with.

Kids in Schenectady and Albany are dyng all too young through violence and now suicides in the Schenectady schools.  Besides a task force you need a whole new school board and you need some moral
outrage from the religious community.

Bennie--Who would get re-elected in a bunker???  Maybe the man who would be king.

Come on Cal......are you saying that 'guns' are the problem? Get serious now. And don't be a bleeding heart liberal. These kids have 'problems' to begin with...that's a given. And now you are asking an entire society to give up their rights for the stupid and unparented few? Hardly! You are beginning to sound like oprah (who endorsed obama).

No I am saying that there are a lot of issues that come out the barrel of a gun in a kids hand.  I have six kids.  I didn't want any of them to be around guns and that the silly marching stuff that they did at Albany Academy which forced them to carry a gun albeit some stupid rifle filled with cement.  (One son liked it the other couldn't have cared less)  They may be unparented for a lot of reasons.  Not everybody is getting high on some corner and leaving their kids alone.  Some are working damn hard trying to overcome a lot of barriers to make ends meet.

Bleeding heart liberal--you bet!  Try Kennedy liberal.  Although I was in Hillary's camp, in the end I voted for OBAMA and glad I did.

Just two.

The "octomom" has 14 kids.  She's the poster child for emotional stability.
