Again, Sal may be crazy, but he called the Sheriff's thing several months ago.  Nobody else knew what the hell he was talking about when he said Dagostino was going to be sheriff,

There will be an interim appointment - whoever is appointed will need to run for full election in November

I have said that I know and like Dom well and have agreed that he is the best candidate to be the sherriff as anyone who works with the sherriff over there will twll you check the men in blue who work down in the jail and they will be unamimous to be for Dom and I told him a long time ago that he should get it and now look at that. Also all the parties must indeed back him 100% if they are smart and they will do it. they have to. HAving the mopther on the legialture will get the department well funded and fixed of any problems so you now have a 1 -2 punch for Rotterdam people over here now to.

Nooooo....People call that 'legal, political corruption'!! Whether Dom has connections or not, funding and fixing should be recognized anyway.... no matter WHO gets the job.

So from you assessment Sal....1. you like Dom...2. He is Judy's son.....3. Mommy will get funding where needed.

BUT nowhere do you say he is the most qualified for the job, unless of course, you are basing this solely on DNA and genetics and a vowel at the end of his name.

Sal was half right. Dom will be picked by the accidental Gov as interim Sheriff and them Joe Lazarri will run against him in November. A fill-in Gov picking a fill-in Sheriff. Only in NY. Sal was right on about Dom getting the necessary approval. Will see about the rest of his spiel in November. By then hard realty will seep in.

    This anti-Democratic idea that all the parties have to endorse one person is going nowhere. Can't believe that no one in the Sheriff's Department wants to step up. The deal remains more sacred than any person in this County.
