That statement in that testimony under oath will be the words used to question Comey's sudden concern with obstruction AFTER his testimony and AFTER being fired. Along with explaining why he didn't report the obstruction to the DOJ instead of writting a memo to himself about the obstruction. He has to explain them, not me. No, I didn't know the DOJ was separate from the Executive Branch. Which branch of government is the DOJ a part of? I'll give you the 3 branches I'm aware of - Executive, Judicial, Legislative. If there is another Branch of government, please let me know.

If there was a situation where Comey was told to stop an investigation for political reasons, it would be a VERY BIG DEAL. Such a big deal that Comey wrote a memo about it, and leaked it to the media.

Comey leaked a memo he had written about the conversation during his Valentines Day meeting with Trump where he felt Trump wad obstructed justice. That's the smoking gun! Comey didn't mention this obstruction in May, during his 6 hour testimony to Congress where he was being questioned ABOUT THE INVESTIGATION HE THOUGHT WAS BEING OBSTRCTED. That's besides the point, since the Congressional Committee never asked him specifically if Trump interfered. Nor did Comey make the DOJ aware of the obstruction which he is required to do so by law. He waited until the was fired from his position of FBI Director to take out Trump with a leaked memo.
