$50M in advertising costs has resulted in the creation of 408 jobs since start of program 3 years ago. But, Howard Zemsky, the chief executive of Empire State Development, explained that "We dramatically changed the perception of New York state.” “The world thought that New York state was not open for business.” He added that now, “The world thinks New York state is open for business.”
And, the real cost of the program that waives taxes for companies that transfer, expand or start new businesses in the state for a period of 10 years is much greater than the advertising expenses. Add to the lost tax revenues the cost of the program administration.
This state wastes sooooooooooooo much of our tax money that it should be criminal!!!
And yet the sheople sleep.....or search for pokeman!!!!!
