GUILDERLAND — A 42-year-old Schenectady man was charged Friday with sending indecent material to a 15-year-old girl he met at the Rotterdam roller skating rink where he works, police said.
Mark A. Hotaling of Ninth Avenue in Schenectady, was arrested for allegedly having sexually explicit online chats with a Guilderland girl he met at Rollarama on Hamburg Street, police said.
Hotaling was charged with two felony counts of disseminating indecent material to a minor and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
The FBI and State Police aided Guilderland police in the investigation. Police are asking anyone with information about Hotaling to contact them at 356-1501.
Hotaling was arraigned in Guilderland Town Court and sent to the Albany County jail on $25,000 bail.
