The people in Schenectady think Vince Riggi is the best person who represents them.

He got MORE VOTES THAN ANYONE.

Therefore he SHOULD be the next council president!

McTHIEF and the rest of the council people better take notice  (maybe Riggi should have run for mayor instead of council, he would have beat McTHIEF by a landslide

Remember the article about Perazzo and Kosiur  wanting to be council president, and this
Quoted Text
Kosiur, who was re-elected after serving a one-year term, said he is also considering the seat. He pointed to his high vote count on Election Day as an indication that he is the popular choice for president.

So as Vince received the highest vote count he should be council president : )

Yes, in the gazette today.

Too bad he'll won't be put in as president, the rest on the council will NEVER allow that to happen.

The awesome news is that Gary McCarthy has done such a great job as Mayor that he got more votes than anyone else running in city-wide elections.   It is an added bonus that he is also well-liked.

Ed Kosiur will make a great City Council President.

The awesome news is that Gary McCarthy has done such a great job as Mayor .

It is awesome news that, despite the words you posted above, you really actually agree with me that McCarthy has done a major lousy job:
1.  MASSIVE falling tax base
2.  MASSIVE falling property values evidenced by the fact that McCarthy has caused the city to be the ABSOLUTE HIGHEST OVER-ASSESSED city in the whole state of New York
3.  Violating state law by refusing to maintain property assessments at a uniform percent of value
4.  Violating state law by refusing to publish tax foreclosures
5.  Increasing the taxes on homeowners to pay the property taxes of billionaire political cronies
6.  Citing homeowners for little violations while making it financially impossible for them to pay for repairs because the homeowners have to pay for the demolition of a building owned by a billionaire political crony.
7.  But failing to follow city laws regarding mandatory sorting of trash, storage of trash, and failing to cite violators for failing to recycle
8.  Being a big hypocrite by stating that all his department heads would be required to live IN the city but then not applying his own rule to his department heads (fires one department head for not moving into the city (former assessor) but allowing another department head (former police chief Chaires) to live outside of the city AND allowing another department head (former police chief Kilcullen) to not only live outside of the city but also outside of the county.
9.  Failing to maintain Central Park, allowing the tennis stadium, the A diamond to fall into massive disrepair, while planning to create more little parks when Central Park cannot be properly taken care of.
10.  Eliminating essential city services while increasing taxes
11.  Increasing taxes on the homeowners by making them pay the taxes of GE which has failed to meet the jobs required.
12.  Refusing to take back all tax breaks to that Quirky despite the FACT that it has NOT met the conditions it was supposed to for those tax breaks.

Just to name a few.

And it is absolutely awesome news that you really agree with me that McCarthy has done a massive lousy job--your silence, your inability to dispute the above points (and provide evidence to dispute what I wrote) is proof that you actually agree with me that McCarthy has really done a piss poor job.

ROFLMAO -- The he/she nayboob still can't accept that the majority of the city is very happy with the great job that Mayor McCarthy is doing.

You claim the is so wonderful, so explain why YOU won't have ANYTHING TO DO WHATSOEVER with buying a house IN the city, not even renting IN the cty?

Why DV?   Why not.   Why do you REFUSE to answer why you avoid living IN the city?

DV, you obviously failed math class, didn't you.

Well why shouldn't he be questioned about why he refuses to EVER answer why he wants NOTHING to EVER do with living IN the city himself.   People who are normal and praise a city and it's leaders would certainly want to invest and buy a house rather than living off someone else.

If DV has some intelligence, then his silence on why he will not buy a house in the city proves that he knows that the mayor is ruining the city, and thus he is avoiding buying a house and having it lose 25% of it's value in a couple years; he's avoiding buying a house in the city because he does not want to pay the taxes of a billionaire
