We remember going there after league bowling at Boulevard quite some years ago (that's why I know it was near and after 9 pm) with others from the league.
We went once since the new ones took over but it was more dinner time.
We had some friends who went there after getting out of a movie at that bow tie, they said it was about 7:45, one customer and they were getting ready to close up, they close at 8 pm.
Seems odd for a downtown restaurant to close so early.
Also interesting is that in an open market, arms length transaction, the current owners paid $200,000 for the property, but McTHIEF has REFUSED to assess the property in accordance with it's market value and equalization rate. It is assessed for just $170,400. Based on the sale price, McCarthy and his unqualified assessor are in violation of state law. With a market value of $200,00 an equalization rate, that building MUST be reassessed to $242,000. |
