Rather large water main break in the town.
Anytime there is a water main break anywhere, regardless of municipality, one of the first things people want and need to know is whether water should be boiled.
Heard about it on the news at 5 this morning, well, the water pressure or no water.
Here it is, almost noon time. The town still has not informed people.
NOTHING on their website
Highway Dept - no answer Public Works - no answer Super's office - no answer
Noon time news on TV, not on, president is speaking
How responsive is the town to it's people for our taxes, our tripled water fee, and the coming almost 9% tax increase?
Understanding that breaks happen is one thing. But for the taxes we pay, and the ease of updating a website, how can this town be so irresponsible?
Oh, the answer to that is "working together works." The town is like the city. Keeping secrets from it's residents (just like the incompetent, unqualified mayor refuses to post foreclosures as required by state law, just like he keeps public information on code inspections a secret) |
