If all the other children are vaccinated.....why should anyone care?
They are protected against those who CHOOSE not to have their children vaccinated.

BREAKING: SCOTUS Just Made Bombshell Decision About MANDATORY Vaccinations

The U.S. Supreme Court will not hear a challenge to New York state’s requirement that all children must be vaccinated before attending public school, effectively upholding an appeals court ruling that stated the policy does not violate students’ constitutional right of religious freedom.

In addition, the appeals court upheld a federal judge’s ruling that students who were exempted from the immunization policy for religious reasons could be banned from school during an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease, according to The Associated Press.

The response to this decision has been mixed because denying public education because parents exercise their right not to vaccinate their child does seem to violate rights. On the other hand, children who aren’t vaccinated can present health risks to other children in school.
State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman weighed in, saying, “I applaud the Supreme Court for letting stand the Second Circut’s decision recognizing the validity of laws in both New York State and New York City requiring vaccination for schoolchildren.”

“Protecting children from debilitating communicable disease should be a top priority,” Shneiderman said.

However, there are some that argue that vaccines themselves sometimes cause health-related issues in children.

Three New York City families who challenged the mandate were disheartened by the news. The attorney for those families, Patricia Finn,  stated that she was “disappointed, but I think there’s more coming.”

She mentioned a preliminary injunction that was issued by a federal judge in White Plains, N.Y., late last month that allowed a parent the right to exempt a boy from vaccines containing animal byproducts or fetal tissues on religious grounds.

“Throughout the country… people are organizing and challenging these statutes,” Finn stated. “I don’t know why the (Supreme) Court didn’t take it. There’s far more coming.”

Don't want a vaccine?  Fine, but don't get upset when your kid can't play in my house, or with my kids.

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.

Time and again, we hear this from parents who choose not to vaccinate their children.

“If your child is vaccinated, why are you worried about them catching anything from my child?”

This is a common response from parents when it is suggested that a purposely unvaccinated child poses a threat to others.

One thing that many parents may not understand is that while vaccinations are highly effective, and greatly decrease the chance of contracting preventable diseases, no vaccine is 100% effective.    According to CDC reports, “most routine childhood vaccines are effective for 85% to 95% of recipients.   For reasons related to the individual, some will not develop immunity.”

There are dozens more explanations/examples of WHY!!!!

The funny thing is, the vaccinated child is the only one that is guaranteed to be carrying the virus you are protecting your child from.  Americans are not very good at logic.

Q: Has measles been eliminated from the United States?

A: Yes. In 2000, the United States declared that measles was eliminated from this country.
The United States was able to eliminate measles because it has a highly effective measles
vaccine, a strong vaccination program that achieves high vaccine coverage in children and
a strong public health system for detecting and responding to measles cases and outbreaks.

Q: If measles is eliminated, why do people still get it in the United States?

A: Every year, measles is brought into the United States by unvaccinated travelers
(Americans or foreign visitors) who get measles while they are in other countries. They
can spread measles to other people who are not protected against measles, which
sometimes leads to outbreaks. This can occur in communities with unvaccinated people.

Most people in the United States are protected against measles through vaccination,
so measles cases in the U.S. are uncommon compared to the number of cases before
a vaccine was available. Since 2000, when measles was declared eliminated from the U.S.,
the annual number of people reported to have measles ranged from a low of 37 people in
2004 to a high of 668 people in 2014.

Here is a table of countries you may not want to visit since they do not receive the same vaccinations as American children.  It appears that the rest of western civilization is threatening American children by not getting their children vaccinated at the same rate as Americans.

Why Japan banned MMR vaccine
by JENNY HOPE, Daily Mail

Japan stopped using the MMR vaccine seven years ago - virtually the only developed nation to turn its back on the jab.

Government health chiefs claim a four-year experiment with it has had serious financial and human costs.

Of the 3,969 medical compensation claims relating to vaccines in the last 30 years, a quarter had been made by those badly affected by the combined measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, they say.

The triple jab was banned in Japan in 1993 after 1.8 million children had been given two types of MMR and a record number developed non-viral meningitis and other adverse reactions.

Official figures show there were three deaths while eight children were left with permanent handicaps ranging from damaged hearing and blindness to loss of control of limbs.

The government reconsidered using MMR in 1999 but decided it was safer to keep the ban and continue using individual vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella.

The British Department of Health said Japan had used a type of MMR which included a strain of mumps vaccine that had particular problems and was discontinued in the UK because of safety concerns.

The Japanese government realised there was a problem with MMR soon after its introduction in April 1989 when vaccination was compulsory. Parents who refused had to pay a small fine.

An analysis of vaccinations over a three-month period showed one in every 900 children was experiencing problems. This was over 2,000 times higher than the expected rate of one child in every 100,000 to 200,000.

The ministry switched to another MMR vaccine in October 1991 but the incidence was still high with one in 1,755 children affected. No separate record has been kept of claims involving autism.

Tests on the spinal fluid of 125 children affected were carried out to see if the vaccine had got into the children's nervous systems. They found one confirmed case and two further suspected cases.

In 1993, after a public outcry fuelled by worries over the flu vaccine, the government dropped the requirement for children to be vaccinated against measles or rubella.

Dr Hiroki Nakatani, director of the Infectious Disease Division at Japan's Ministry of Health and Welfare said that giving individual vaccines cost twice as much as MMR 'but we believe it is worth it'.

In some areas parents have to pay, while in others health authorities foot the bill.

However, he admitted the MMR scare has left its mark. With vaccination rates low, there have been measles outbreaks which have claimed 94 lives in the last five years.

Japan stopped using MMR because it was linked to outbreaks of non-viral meningitis and other
damaging side-effects.
Doctors say there were problems with the vaccine which was of a different type to that used in the UK.
(Or presumably the USA)

They stopped using the MMR vaccine in 1993 and reverted to three separate injections for measles,
mumps and rubella.

Japan's Health Ministry said more than 100 people died from measles over the next six years, while there
were no deaths in the UK.

But a spokesman said even more had died from the disease during the period when MMR was being used.

He said the withdrawal of the triple vaccine had had no impact.

Deadly epidemics of measles are far more common in Japan than the UK. The ministry says that is
because children are often vaccinated much later.

Japanese officials say they have no record of a connection between MMR and autism.

The USA's relatively low life expectancy doesn't have much to do with who and who doesn't get vaccines...it has much more to do with the high calorie/high fat diet the majority of the population gorges itself on, not to mention smoking.

As far as the Vaccines themselves, no one is making you get them, just like no one forces you to drive. But prerequisite training is required to drive, in order to protect other drivers and pedestrians.  Prerequisites should be required to attend public school to protect the other students. Vaccines should be part of that.
