1. I don't BLAME either party for this vote... I thank them. 2. Fetal tissue research may one day save your life... Forget that. You don't deserve it. May save the life of someone you care about, and if successful, save the lives of millions around the world. 3. If Cissy were to witness a tooth extraction, he'd probably consider it to be "barbaric", and if he saw an appendix being removed, he'd probably faint, or puke, or puke while fainting. It'spretty "barbaric" and it's saved the life of millions.
Hey man...I commend you for proudly supporting this. If you can convince yourself that a fetus is a tooth, then I applaud your ability in mental gymnastics. Aborting a fetus is like your daughter losing her 12 year old molars or getting your wisdom teeth pulled. After all, we all know women are born with fetus' in the womb. It's just natural human biology that every girl experiences.
Human sacrifice in the pursuit of good heath, vitality, and even immortality is a practice as old as mankind. Im glad to see you've "progressed" in following this ancient tradition to preserve your own health. I'll bet sacrificing virgins isn't out of the realm of possibility for you. As long as it's permitted by majority vote, and science claims it could help you live longer. The first virgin sacrifice may not save your life, but, after tens of millions, science promises it will work.

One of the first conversations I had with Cicero on this board was about Logical Fallacies,
I've tried over the years to show Cissy how his arguments don't follow logic, but he seems unable (or unwilling) to change. He still persists in his Strawman fallacy, and in this post he's warming up his usual "FALSE EQUIVALENCE" logical fallacy. I had such hopes that Cissy could progress beyond a FoxSnooze logic... but it appears he prefers logical fallacies to actual sound logic. (SIGH)...
Quoted Text
False equivalence is a logical fallacy where there appears to be a logical equivalence (usually in quantity and quality of evidence) between two opposing arguments, but when in fact there is one side has substantially higher quality and quantity of evidence.
Journalists use a form of this logical fallacy when comparing two sides of a scientific debate in an attempt to provide, what they think , is a journalistic balance between a scientific and denialist point of view.
However, there is no equivalence between the two sides when one is supported by evidence, and the other side with little or no evidence, of which most is of low quality. In other words, in false equivalence, someone will state that the opposing arguments have a passing similarity in support, when, on close examination, there is large difference between the quality of evidence
Example
Fox News presents a debate between one scientist who thinks human caused climate change is supported by vast amount of evidence, and another non-scientist who thinks that the data is all manufactured and there is no evidence. Then Fox News states that the debate is unsettled, relying on false equivalence, when the evidence supporting climate change is both high quality and high quantity.

Yes box, I understand fallacies. That's why I blew your false equivalency of a "tooth extraction"out of the water. Read your false equivalency info again and start fixing your own fallacious arguments.lol
Fallacy: 3. If Cissy were to witness a tooth extraction, he'd probably consider it to be "barbaric", and if he saw an appendix being removed, he'd probably faint, or puke, or puke while fainting.
A tooth extraction isn't an abortion of a fetus. Box is trying to equate a tooth with a fetus. That's an amazing leap from reality. But to further dehumanize the human fetus, one must look at the human fetus as something of no value, like a tooth or an appendix. Only the truely warped mind can make this leap from reality.

YES... The "BARBARIC" tooth extraction.

Do you consider a tooth extraction and tooth the same as an aborted fetus? When you look at an ultrasound and see the heartbeat, is that a tooth with organs?

Yes a tooth. A Molar would be a good example...except a molar would likely be too large to compare to the size of 35% of aborted fetus. It would be closer in size to a blueberry.
Almost 70% of abortions take place when the fetus is smaller than a molar. Probably more the size of a Raspberry. Not exactly a viable baby is it at that size.
Almost 90% occur when the fetus is smaller than a plum. Again, not a viable baby yet for months.
The next 9% ... you could compare the fetus for size to a mango.
The remaining 1% at a later stage, often because of accident, illness or other threat to the life of the mother.
I know the 'Forced Birthers' love to call this blueberry clump of cells a "baby" but the fact is it wouldn't be a viable 'baby' for months.

FactCheck.org Debunks Deceptively Edited Video Smearing Planned Parenthood
FactCheck.org debunked a deceptively edited video from the Center for Medical Progress smearing Planned Parenthood by falsely claiming the organization has been "selling" fetal tissue donations, pointing out that the unedited video shows the clinics just "want to cover their costs, not make money" when making donations.
Discredited anti-choice organization Center for Medical Progress released a deceptively cut video claiming to have caught a Planned Parenthood official discussing the "selling [of] aborted baby parts" on July 14. Conservatives jumped on the opportunity to call to defund Planned Parenthood, despite mainstream media calling out the attack for "show[ing] nothing illegal."
FactCheck.org further demolished the video's credibility in a July 21 post explaining that, despite Center for Medical Progress' claim, the video does not show Planned Parenthood violated any laws. Noting that the official in the video "repeatedly say[s] its clinics want to cover their costs, not make money, when donating fetal tissue from abortions for scientific research," the fact-check quotes "biorepository" experts explaining that the fees discussed in the video would not generate "a profit at that price" -- it'd just offset some of the costs associated with the process:

If a tooth and a fetus is the same, why not sell your teeth for stem cell research. You know, to help all Americans and save lives. Planned Parenthood should get into dentistry since pulling a tooth and aborting a fetus is basically the same thing.

What are they checking the facts on? There is a court order to stop showing the videos. If they are fake, then there are not patients, no doctors, no illegal recordings. None of that ever happened. So which is it? Did they record what really happens in planned parenthood, or was it just movie magic?

Yes Cicero... a tooth and a fetus are exactly the same!!! (Note: see the "FALSE EQUIVALENCE" post.)
