If this is for low income, there's no way apartments will rent for $1,000 per month, so probably the math is even worse.
But the owners don't have a care in the world about current taxes nor the impact of future tax increases, they won't have to pay. I'll bet the tenants will be able to claim the state credit for renting however (offhand, I'm not sure if such credit is only available if the rented apartment is in a taxable property. |
