The City-County of Schenectady is doing great.  It is under great leadership.

But you wouldn't DREAM about living IN the city.  You won't go to church IN the city anymore.  You won't attend council meetings anymore.  You won't put a pinky toe IN the city.

The city will be better without you in it.

Actually, the whole county would be better if you would grow up and move OUT of the county.

Doing great?

Can you respond and state what is and has been happening to the city's tax base under this great leadership you claim?

Oh, of course, we know, you will NOT respond to that question.

It's doing great!  So great, low income housing is being built!  YAY!!!

A run down mall at one end of the city and a soon to be built run down looking casino at the other end.

So very true.

If this is for low income, there's no way apartments will rent for $1,000 per month, so probably the math is even worse.

But the owners don't have a care in the world about current taxes nor the impact of future tax increases, they won't have to pay.  I'll bet the tenants will be able to claim the state credit for renting however (offhand, I'm not sure if such credit is only available if the rented apartment is in a taxable property.
