His taxpayer funded tour of houses April 26, 2015Once again, green are repeat appearances. Gee, why aren't people buying them?
Campbell Ave. How morbid. It's been for sale for just about a year. Don't you love the morbid black appliances and morbid black cabinets. But with the yellow you might miss the bumblebees.
Foster Ave. Hope you love ceiling tiles. You have to wonder what is behind them, maybe a crumbling ceiling?
Fourteenth St. Hope you love 40+ year old paneling
Glenwood Blvd. Wow. Old wallpaper, pink wall to wall carpeting in the living room, blue wall to wall carpeting in the dining room, sceptered carpeting in a bedroom, and a rotting tree stump (termite attraction) in the back yard. Does the McTHIEF ever get a real professional real estate person to look at these places before they are listed on his tour.
Ingersoll Ave. Is this a joke? Assssed for $90,000 and asking more than twice? Just feet from the river so the house can be flooded again. How many times do insurance companies pay out before they say "sorry" because how insurable is this house? Good luck.
Snowden Ave. Really? Aqua colored wall to wall carpeting and aqua colored walls? Aqua colored woodwork? Another room, blue wall to wall and woefully dated paneling and dated ceiling tiles? Yellow wall to wall carpeting in a bedroom. Aqua colored wallpaper. Dated wallpaper in a bathroom. A yellow stove. Cabinets out of the dark ages. Linoleum floor in the kitchen. Yellow (I think) dated formica counter top . A yellow porcelain single sink. Just gut the whole house and start from scratch. Better yet, demolish it and leave it vacant land, no one wants to buy in Schenectady anyway. The police chief won't live in the city. Galesi won't live in the city. His CEO and other top brass in the company won't live in the city. The mayor's biggest (in more ways than one) cheerleader will not only will not rent in the city, but won't even spend one hour in Schenectady going to church.
