Yesterday two ambulances were dispatched....and because of the trains blocking access at the Putnam Road crossing.....they had

to go around to get up Putnam Rd....the ambulances were seen near the hospital by a person who was on their way home from Rotterdam

to get to their destination near Providence Ave....seems many minutes passed... .......with the train traffic lately, it is causing many

delays....and in this case an emergency......in one day within 1/2 hr......6 trains passed that intersection going either way...

seems like one would have to call ahead to get the train schedule, if one had an emergency in that area......

REMS prevails....
