SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say nearly 100 car windshields were smashed in overnight.
Police say they began receiving calls around 4-5 a.m. Wednesday morning. They say estimates of 100 cars all over the city were vandalized, mainly on the north side.
Schenectady Police say so far there are no suspects and officials are very early into the investigation.

We were talking with an insurance company in the county and they said that they are going to have to increase some of their rates. They said the city is too 'high risk'.

But the mayor and his team are doing a wonderful job, the city is improving, metroplex is a solid investment, people (SUPPOSEDLY) are flocking to buy houses in the northside.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

There's been vandalism around the Nora - Robinson area lately, neighbors had a note left on their door telling everyone to keep an eye out. Getting out of control and it isn't even hot out yet.
I went down Van Vranken and both sides of the street all the cars windows were busted out.

#BREAKING: Police say two men have been arrested in connection to the car vandalism spree that happened in Schenectady yesterday.
