CHEER CHEER

RAH RAH

More shootings in Mont Pleasant

The mayor and his team are doing a wonderful job in the city

The city is in a renaissance

The city is improving

Words spoken from a non-taxpayer who not only won't live IN the city, the non-taxpayer won't set foot near MP to even attend church.

But it's just fine to spend the taxpayers' money on the millionaire political cronies of the city/co/plex leaders downtown, while the very lives of children arin danger.

Since school was not in session, I wonder if children were playing outside when this happened.  They could have been.   But instead of the city spending money on more police, they spend it on their cronies downtown

Hopefully the police will catch those responsible and the victim will recover.

As for the insensitive Mc1, Cioci Basia, VirginiaMonologue, Gerri J, Davefromwherever, LOWLIFE SCUM, are you really THAT STUPID?
You have nothing of value to add yet you continue your rants on every post where there is some life tragedy...shooting; death; etc.

Sad but true...containment is not a solution. Police know the criminals and need to target the sources, regardless of location.

It's not that... It was the continuation of the urban flight by children of parents who bought these two family houses in the 1910-1930's... the kids went to college, moved away or to the 'burbs and sold their parents house to landlords who only wanted it as investment. The most reliable way to get rent is section 8...so they take it, and negatives the come with it.

crime has been in that neighborhood for quite a few years....a lot of drugs ...and dealers live in that neighborhood.....once years back...

..FBI raided a home  nearby and the whole neighborhood was told to stay inside....SWAT team.....so, it's sad but nothing new......and the older folks

who have been there for  years are slowlu seeing their neighborhood go down the drain like the Hill...Woodlawn, and other areas of the city

and the government pays more  attention to casinos, restaurant s, saloons....and the like...

never be the same ever again...

"...and the government taxpayers are forced to  pay more  attention to casinos, restaurants, saloons..."

Taxpayer money for casinos, restaurants and saloons, but no taxpayer money for the neighborhoods.   But the city is improving, the mayor and his team are doing a wonderful job--but not a shred of evidence of this "wonderful job", not a teeny shred of EVIDENCE to show an increasing tax base, not a teeny shred of EVIDENCE to show the taxpayers are experiencing an increase in their home values, not a shred of EVIDENCE that services in the neighborhoods are increasing, not a teeny shred of EVIDENCE that the residents are getting even one penny back on their forced "investment."

Better go to hide in disgrace than address the facts.

Sure, move, lose your money, and try to figure out how you are going to have the funds to get another place to live

The SAFE Act.

Working as intended.

I'm thinking more gunfire tonight, maybe targeting a house on Duane. Caught something on the scanner, not 100% on location.
