And this has what to do with Scientology?

Nothing.

It has to do with you, a supporter of a million times more harmful crap than all the Scientology gangsters in the world.

So you DO OPPOSE THE SCIENTOLOGISTS???

Don't know enough about them or their record of abuse.  The federal government has a long list of atrocities without prosecution.  Like the illegal invasion and massacre of an entire country.

The same thing as your reference to Jonestown and deadly cults.  I just gave an example of a much deadlier cult with brainwashed followers that will stay loyal to the cult no matter how much death and destruction it causes.  Oh...And nobody gets prosecuted when this cult kills hundreds of thousands.

Box is a left wing extremist cult member.

He is also a  cheerleader and shill.

He supports good killing by the truckload.

He has this delusion that self justified killing/violence by those he supports, is good killing, and self justified killing by those that his masters denounce as evil, as bad killing/violence.

He never considers that the hatred and new enemies created by the good killings outweighs their good killer intentions.

About “Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief”:
Quoted Text
It’s a fantastic film and very disturbing. The documentary details the origin of Scientology and,
more importantly, how it controls, manipulates and essentially brainwashes its followers. It’s
definitely worth a watch.

But something occurred to me as I was watching how horrible the Church of Scientology is,
and I couldn’t shake the feeling of deja vu. By the time “Going Clear” was over, the only thing
I could think of was “How is this different than Fundamentalist Christianity in America?”

The obvious answer is, “Scientology was totally made up by a con man so of course it’s
different. It’s a cult!” But that isn’t an answer at all. Mormonism is completely made up
by a con man as well. That didn’t stop people from being aghast when conservative
Christians called Mitt Romney a member of a “cult” during the run up to the 2012 elections.

And let’s be honest, Scientology has exactly as much evidence for its veracity as any
other religion: Exactly none whatsoever. So really, the only reason Scientology is not a
“real” religion is time. If it’s around for another 150 years or so, people will treat it just
like Mormonism.

Some will argue that we know L. Ron Hubbard claimed he would make up a religion and
get rich so it’s clearly the whole thing is fake. But we also know, for a fact, that the
(pre-schism) Christian Church decided by committee which books would make it into
the Bible while the rest were discarded. In other words, what Christians claim is the
word of God is a book put together by men according to their personal needs and whims.
That makes the Bible about as believable as the word of God as Joseph Smith’s magical
(and conveniently never seen) Golden Plates.

The only difference between a cult and a recognized religion like Christianity is if the church recognizes the government as the ultimate authority.  If the religion operates outside the authority of the state, it is labeled a cult.  That is why Mormonism is not widely recognized as a cult, Mitt Romney main streamed Mormonism.

Jesus was the cult leader of his day.  And he was hung on a cross for all to see, to make an example of those  daring to challenge the authority of Rome.  If jesus lived in modern times, christians would be wearing electric chairs instead of crucifixes.

PS. I always find it interesting that writers and pundits attacking Christianity and God, and never use Judism as an example of religious extremism and mock God talking to Moses through a burning bush.

IT was Jesus's RELIGION who wanted him crucified.  The GOVT of the day just went along with it.

The government didn't go along with anything.  It was government soldiers that crucified him, not the religious leaders.  Why did the Roman Government give a sh*t if Jesus was disrupting the church by claiming he was the King of the Jews?

Like I said, Jesus' religion was a government lap dog, hence an accepted religion of the state.  And like all good lap dogs, they turned to the state authority to kill Jesus.  Much like the warvangelical christians of today, they petition the government to kill the enemies of Israel, or to outlaw abortion, or outlaw gay marriage.  Since warvangelicals turn to the state, they are not a cult, but a loyal voting bloc worth pandering to.

Man, I know you mock evangelicals(warvangelicals), but they are the most loyal statist in the country.  They even fly the government flags inside their churches right next to the crucifix, and hold special sermons on federal holidays praising the state, something completely counter to Jesus' teachings.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....render unto Ceaser.....so government IS a type of organized cult....

3 major prongs of mass control:

religion
government
money/trade

they are all types of 'orders' or cults.....religion could be argued to be the balm of the human soul/spirit/mind,
government is the 'protector' of the human, money/trade is the meeter of human needs food/water etc.....

healthcare today as we are building it will become all of these in one....psych with drugs is for the human soul/spirit/mind
medical care is the 'protector' of the human ie: surgery etc, preventative medicine is the meeter of human needs ie: what
to eat;how to take care of yourself etc

anyone ever notice:
father son holy spirit
executive, legislative, judicial

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The church of Planned Parenthood doesn't pay property or sales tax, and they get hundreds of millions in federal funding.  You must be outraged.

PP actually preforms a needed service to the public.  Churches, not so much.

Oh - Ok...So you're not outraged.

That's the inner authoritarian you can't suppress...You've decided, PP good for public, Churches - not so much.  You've gotta be itching to tax churches for their lack of public service, and undeserving tax exemption status.

I told you box, the churches do perform a service, they hang the government flag next to the cross and Mother Mary, and they sing the Battle Hymn of the Republic on the Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day Sunday service.  What more can a statist ask for than a church hanging the state flag in God's house?
