I recently watched "Going Clear", on HBO. I knew that Scientology was BS crazy, but I just assumed that they were the typical harmless cult religion. It turns out these crazies are nuttier and more violent than I ever imagined.

we are forced to 'labor'....otherwise it's torture/mental abuse and physical abuse to stand in line for services....
you can't get food/housing etc without it....still 'force'...we like to call it security/safety net etc.....but it's just that scary.

Don't think Gov Almighty has the right to step in when they in fact are actually paid by us the taxpayers to commit the same crimes/violations/atrocities globally with no public outcry.

The same thing as your reference to Jonestown and deadly cults. I just gave an example of a much deadlier cult with brainwashed followers that will stay loyal to the cult no matter how much death and destruction it causes. Oh...And nobody gets prosecuted when this cult kills hundreds of thousands.

So Cissy sees Jonestown, Scientology and the US Govt to be the same thing. Yet only opposes the US Govt... not the murders of Jonestown or the abuse of Scientology.
