I think JEB Bush is a great option for president. However, I know that others don't agree.
To your point about the 2 party system, we could look at ways to fix the system so that other parties would have a chance to win seats in Congress and in state and local legislative bodies. That would help break the 2 party monopoly but wouldn't necessarily end corrupt influences.

Yes, contact a member of congress that belongs to one of the two parties, and tell them to change the election laws that preserve the two party system, and make it virtually impossible to organize a 3rd party nationally.

One can't just give up. So one needs to keep challenging their representatives. Lord knows, we don't have a very good representative in the House right now.
