what difference does it make to know how to make dangerous product.........BTW....twit or not....have a little more sense than that...
my opinion counts too.....so COOL YOUR JETS..........knowledge it not necessarily power....
Someone posted that someone may or may not have been making meth. Someone else posted that "meth labs are not so easy to hide", I posted "just for information's sake" that some meth labs are indeed quite easy to hide, and then showed how that is possible. You responded in your typical irrational Pollyanna way like I had done something terrible. I resent that. I provided good information to folks who may not have known just how easy it is to make meth.
You need to throw your computer in the trash, lock yourself in a closet and throw away the key, because you are obviously not capable of living in the modern world. And if anyone needs to cool their jets it's you.
And since I'm on a roll here, your opinion does count, however how about posting in complete sentences, because frankly if you were to speak like that it would sound like you were speaking in tongues. Oh, and knowledge IS power.
GOOD DAY NAOMI!!

The community outpouring of generosity to assist the over 70 people (about 10 of whom were children) left homeless by the fire is heartwarming. It is not too late for anyone to lend a helping hand. A special fund has been set up at the Salvation Army and another through the Schenectady Foundation. A number of houses of worship will be having second collections this weekend - with the proceeds going to one of these two special funds.

No I'm absolutely not kidding.
A local corner selling MJ or even cocaine is going to get a lot less attention than a meth lab would get.
Regardless of what Alva posted (which I wasn't knowledgeable on obviously), the thought of a meth lab "well known" by people nearby, but not targeted by the police only a block away (and right across from city hall, the library, etc...), would just strike me as ridiculous.
Regardless of the occasional bad apple, the police are not inept like the mayor and most of the council.
Also - while the ATF is there, I have not heard that the DEA is... And while I am no tin law enforcement, I would assume that the DEA would more likely to be the federal agency brought in as soon as there was something serious like this where a meth lab was involved.
Should the DEA show up, I'd change my tune here. Until then or some other news, it is inconceivable that a meth lab could be known by everyone nearby, with tons of kids in the buildings, but no one even sending an anonymous tip to the police or city hall, literally a snowballs throw away.
Oh and while I'm not in the business of cooking meth, even if there is a clean way of doing so... One would think you wouldn't do it right across the street from city hall... In a highly populated apartment building.
Of course far less logical things have happened in the past. After all, I never would have thought we'd have such an abysmally moronic mayor who won't use the snow emergency process when every other local city does; and instead pays city employees to clean up snow with front end loaders after the storm. (including on weekends, nights, etc...)
But I digress. I could be wrong, but man I'd be surprised.
"an abysmally moronic mayor", "inept like the mayor and most of the council." Credit to JB for the quotes, those two qualities pretty much guarantee re-election in this city. Cherry on top has got to be Paul Tonko showing up and praising the leadership of the Mayor.

Yeah, at this point it's all speculation anyway. If I were to hazard a guess, I'd tend to lean more towards the careless smoking faulty space heater way of thinking. Still, I wouldn't totally rule out any other cause either. Time will tell I guess.

hey Alva......why analyze something that may be just a rumor....like the media all we hear are lies and rumors....
about my computer thrown in the trash....who are you???????????.....another bully.....know it all......you are the one with no life.....
how about getting together for an ice cream someday???
Have a nice day.
This is a discussion forum, correct? That's what's done here. We discuss, toss out different ideas and thoughts, whether true or rumors. I don't think that we're held to any standards of proof here, we just discuss and opine.
Who am I? Why I'm Alva White. I'm also Alvah White. Please don't bring up the tired old bully argument. It's old and hackneyed.
I don't know it all. At 68 years old I'm still learning new things every day. That's what I love about the internet, it's a place where I can satisfy my insatiable thirst for knowledge. My life is wonderful. I do what I want when I want. I tend to my two newly adopted and formerly abandoned and feral kitties. I cook gourmet meals for myself. I read, watch baseball, garden, go for long walks, meditate, design websites, compose electronic music, play guitar, go fishing, watch the sunset, and wonder why so many people are so unaware of their surroundings.
And as to ice cream, I can't have it as I'm lactose intolerant. If you'd like to smoke some crack though, I'm up for that.
Have a nice day Judy.

I'm thinking the same thing Jack. I wonder how many of the recent spate of fires in the area have been due to folks trying to stay warm?

don't smoke crack....there is only one crack around....guess who and where it is????
Well then follow the instructions on the video I posted and cook yourself some meth. I don't really give a rat's behind what you do. Just make sure you never leave your home, because it's a scary world out here and you're totally unequipped to handle it.
