I just read article where GWB was speaker at a veterans organization for injured/wounded/etc. veterans. He charged them $100,000 speaking fee and $20k for a private jet. His wife was I attendance also to receive an award or her efforts, and she charged them $50,000 to give a acceptance speech! The article interviewed some of the veterans who didn't know they were paid to speak. (paraphrase) He's the a**hole that sent us to war. Charging a fee is just another slap in our face!

If you read the article, the vets organization justified the fee because Bush helped raise money. It's pretty sick when you think about it, Bush raised money for wounded vets, most likely by soliciting the same wealthy weapons manufacturers and other companies in the military industrial complex that profited off the war. You know....giving a little back to those whose lives they destroyed. This is why America is exceptional.
